Damn thing broke during installation twice
First one I ordered broke when installing. I didn't even get the screw fully seated before the post broke. Zero torque applied (I have a torque wrench). Post broke with so little screw pressure I couldn't believe it. Figured maybe it's just a fluke so ordered replacement. Replacement came today, and BOTH posts broke the exact same way. Screws weren't fully seated and both posts broke. Pictures are of the first set, not gonna bother taking pictures for the second set as it's the same exact thing. I don't know if this is a clone or if the product is really this bad but honestly at this point, I wouldn't trust this thing on my carry gun at all. The OEM glock MOS plates are better than this garbage.

Fixes the MOS.
So Glocks are great, and having a factory optic cut is awesome. The Glock MOS system suffers because the optic plates suck. Your OEM plates are badly molded metal, often don’t sit flush, lose threading, and place the lion’s share of stress on the screws holding the optic to the plate.CHPWS solved this issue entirely. Hands down their plates are the best engineered solution, and they really have solved every possible issue with V4. The optic fits snug on the plate, and has to be pressed onto the posts; that’s some amazing part tolerance. The T-posts give you a total of four posts for the optic to hold onto in recoil, and are removable should you somehow strip or mangle one. It’s unlikely you’ll strip the post, but should you snap off a screw head, the posts have a hole in the bottom allowing you to put a drill bit under the screw and push it out.The plates are thinner than factory, they hold the optic on the front and back, and short of milling a slide are the best option out there. The plates ship with three screws for the optic so you have an extra, and stainless screws to mount the plate on the slide.Unlike the factory plates, CHPWS plates pretty much hold zero if you have to remove the optic for a battery change. It won’t be a perfect zero, but your impact will be within an inch or so of where it should be. That’s good enough to allow you to swap a dead battery without having to run to the range immediately. Factory plates can be off by four to five inches after removing the optic. So buy this thing if you have an MOS Glock. It’s not even a question.

Unbelievable
Unfortunately the bad reviews have some truth to them. The kit I received had several packets of screws and t-nuts, none of them were marked. After some help from online forums I used the correct screws and a Wheeler Fat Wrench set to the proper torque. Just like several of these reviews the t-nuts are shearing in half while threading the screws. In fact, they are so brittle that the fat wrench didn’t even engage to the specified torque before the t-nuts broke. To make matters worse, when trying to remove the screws, the heads stripped due to the repeated attempts to install this plate. I’m not sure if I received a defective product, but this issue is unacceptable and I would not trust my life to this product. I have reverted back to the factory MOS plate despite its alleged shortcomings. I have sent an email to CHPWS and hope that they can resolve this issue and will post an updated review if they get it right.UPDATE: CHPWS contacted me via email and wanted to place the blame on the Wheeler Fat Wrench and suggested I use the Fix It Stix they sell on their website instead. There are too many reported issues with the T-Nuts for me to personally rely on this product and I hope others have better luck than I did.

Garbage. Requires a ton of hand fitting
Very disappointed with this plate. It did not fit into the Glock mos cut. At first, I thought this was a good thing because I could custom hand fit it and have a very tight fit. Nope. Once I shaved down the front and it fit nice and tight, I noticed the screw holes didn’t line up with the holes in my slide. So I had to continue filing until they finally lined up. Unfortunately, now there is space between the plate and slide front & back. This took several hours and overall I think the screws will ultimately shear off because of the gaps between the slide and the plate.

Big problem with T-Nuts
The T-Nuts provided with the set would not fit in the plate no matter how hard I tried to force them in. I reached out to C&H and let them know the problem and they offered to send me some new nuts. I declined and am choosing to return instead it due to some marring on the plate in my attempt to get them to seat. Plus the fact that this whole experience just did not inspire much confidence. It's a shame because I have heard some great things and had high expectations for this product.
