Good value for money
Very good product, definitely recommend.Good value for money, you get a lot of sponges for the price. They only take up a tiny amount of storage as they expand in water, and they expand quite a lot so you could cut them in half and get more for your money.I’ve found it hard in the past to find 100% compostable, plastic free products at a reasonable price so definitely glad I have found epically eco.

What’s not to love?
I have been buying the cellulose sponges for ages, in bulk, from other suppliers & it was also a pain to store 24 full sized ones in my super tiny kitchen. It took up prime space in a up-cycled shoebox and had unfriendly, non-recyclable plastic wrapping. So super chunky & landfill culprit :(Delightful that these are now available completely compressed / dehydrated (?) and 24 now takes 5cm x 13cm space in two super cute tiny cardboard boxies. The packaging is 100% recyclable ♻️ Just add water and poof - sponge is up to full size and ready to go!Fully recommend & happy.Thank you for a great tiny compact solution

10/10 best I’ve ever found!
Can’t express how happy I am to have found these. My problem with biodegradable sponges has always been their absorbency. I wouldn’t know these from supermarket ones and they’re so easy to store flat-pack and don’t expand until wet. I’ve bought 3 packs for friends already. ADD TO CART!

A good exo friendly alternative
These are great sponges performing equally as well as the plastic ones so a really good alternative. Obviously the price is going to be a barrier, but if you can afford to switch then you won't be compromising performance.

Work the same as regular sponges.
This is a set of twelve sponges. You get three each of blue, pink and green and they come in a cardboard box. The packaging is fully recyclable. The sponges are made of cellulose and once they have been made wet the size is 7cm x 11cm x 1.2 cm.Before the sponges have been made wet they are almost the thickness of a piece of paper, literally. I’ve been using these sponges for several weeks and they work just the same as any other sponges I’ve used previously. The sponges are 100% compostable and eco friendly. You can also wash these sponges in the washing machine if you like - I wash them under a warm running tap with a bit of detergent.

Amazing
The media could not be loaded. These are absolutely brilliant, when I opened the box there were 12 in the pack, they looked and felt like card there were 4 green, 4 blue and 4 pink.I filled some water in the sink then placed one in the water and within a second this piece of what looked like card turned into a sponge. As shown in the video above. The sponge is hard wearing, we haven’t got a dishwasher so I do a lot of washing up, and the sponge cleans the dishes no problem. These sponges are brilliant to store away, because they are as thin as card before absorbing water, so doesn’t take much room up in storage. They are eco friendly, 100% compostable and I’ll definitely get these again when I run out and definitely recommend 👍🏻

Perfect Compostable Pop Up Sponges
The media could not be loaded. These are a great set of sponges that are perfect for everyday use or in our case, for taking with us on camping trips. You get a small cardboard box with 12 flat sponges - 4 of each colour - blue, pink and green. They are then easy to use - I cut ours in half - and simply place in water and watch them grow. They are super absorbent and great for all manner of cleaning. The great thing about cellulose sponges is that they can be slung in the washing machine and re-used again and again. Once they are done with, simply add to your food bin to be recycled thus making them environmentally friendly. They also make great sponges for painting with - I plan on cutting a few into shapes and letting my little one mess with them!At £5.99 for 12 sponges (at time of review) working out at nearly 50p per, these are great value and I will be buying again when I need more.

They pop up, they mop up
It is a delight to watch these little sponges expand when you put them in water for the first time. Starting off flat, not much thicker than a sheet of paper, they pop out to working thickness in a couple of seconds. You then have a kitchen sponge that will do for small tasks like wiping working surfaces or light washing up. They are not scratchy, and are not suitable for heavy cleaning jobs. You can wash the sponge, even in your dishwasher. When worn out, the sponge can go in your compost recycling because it isn't plastic, and comes in paper packaging along with its eleven mates.
