Haunted Honeymoon

Ahh.. my all time favorite movie. I have owned 3 copies counting this one. Its just that good. I have a blue ray/dvd player and I hadn't seen it in BR. It didnt disapoint... the movie was crisper and clearer. So happy to have it back in my stack of movies. It came on time, no extra waiting.

The Movie Is A Great One For All Of Those Who Love To Laugh Out Loud

My husband and I enjoyed the show. We saw it when we were younger and wanted to watch again.

Haunted Honeymoon is one of those films that really didn't do well when it came out but to me it is one of my favorites . Written , directed and starring Gene Wilder and co-stars Gilda Radner , Dom Deluise , Jonathan Pryce and many others. The film is centered around 2 radio stars from the 20's or 30s..maybe even the 40's who are about to get married and it is from there they finish up their radio show and go to Gene Wilder's aunt's house who is played by Dom Deluise. It is from there that hijinx stsrt up with murders and werewolves and so much more. This film as Wilder puts it is a color picture with a black and white feel to it. Is this the best film in the world , no...but it is a classic to me because it is the final film of not only Gilda Radnr but Gene and Gilda together.

I had seen this movie many years ago and wanted to see it again. I believe that Gene & Gilda were already married during the filming because they had great chemistry together! Dom DeLuise's role as great aunt Kate is just too good to pass up! I am a fan of Gene Wilder and purchased it to add to my collection. I truly recommend that you watch this movie because it will make you laugh!

I've loved this movie since I was a child. Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner are so sweet and funny together! You mix in Dom Deluis and you have a golden movie! The picture is sharp and clear, the colors are great quality, and the music is intense. Unfortunately, the voices are a little too muted at times against the music, and it needs closed caption to figure out quieter scenes.

As a Blue-ray this movie is what I expected. If you are unfamiliar with the movie, you need to watch it. It is a silly, but well written, family friendly, Halloween type movie. It's about a couple of 30s-40s era Radio voice actors who are getting married over the weekend and the woman (Gilda Radner) learns that her intended (Gene Wilder) may be a werewolf. It's a truly clever movie. Dom DeLuise is brilliant.

Great Movie

amo molto questo film e trovarlo in versione restaurata mi ha fatto molto piacere. l'immagine è ottima, se uscisse il blu ray comprerei pure quello. io non faccio come fanno tanti che si improvvisano stupidamente critici cinematografici. della trama non scrivo nulla. parlo delle caratteristiche tutte ottime. un film per gli amanti del genere non per tutti sicuramente. grazie amazon!

Haunted honeymoon'' est un film intéressant qui mélange les genre. On navigue entre comédie, épouvante et 'suspense'. L'histoire met en scène un célèbre animateur de radio en proie à des frayeurs ; et pour l'on guérir, son oncle va employer la manière forte....sans compter de multiples rebondissements et...un loup-garou.. . La multitude de personnages se distingue par leurs caractéristiques, assez distingués. Les dialogues sont bons et enrichis. le film date de 1986 et est très rare. Fait intéressant : le dvd import' (zone 2) possède le doublage d'origine de 1986. C'est un ''Bon remember'' pour les cinéphiles l'ayant connu dans les années 80/90. A voir absolument.

Ich habe den Film damals als Teen im Kino gesehen,auch heute noch finde ich diesem Film gelungen.Slapstick und ab und zu eine Prise hintergründigen Humor.Eine gute Mischung. Und der Hauch von Nostalgie, runden diesen Film ab.
