The Last Sineater
Francine Rivers is captivating in the stories she writes, making each character so real and so much like you in their thoughts, feelings, and actions. You want to just jump right in their and help them with their struggles. She brings to light all the ups, downs, troubles, doubts, and triumphs we face as we seek the Truth in our own lives. Love all of her books.

Excellent book.
This book reveals things that most of us experience in life.Misunderstandings, especially within families. Guilt over the past. But also, it gives hope of God's forgiveness and his love for us.It is so well written it will keep you turning the pages.

my favorite book
This book is very different, the dialect the setting, it is an allegory of sand, repentance, forgiveness, and the striving that we go through. I very much recommend reading this book I have enjoyed every word in it and couldn’t put it down

riveting!
I started reading this book on a plane and could not put it down until we landed. I admit it was so compelling that I was in tears on and off the entire time. I love historical fiction, especially set in the mountains where the Scots settled, because that is where my people come from and I can really relate to their stubbornness and their love of the mountains. I highly recommend this book!

A Powerful Allegory
This book took me back to the simple and powerful story of grace that is found in Jesus taking our place on the cross as the blameless Lamb of God! It reminded me of all the ways I tried to earn salvation, living a 'good' life in my strength and ways; and all the ways that I have tried to remain in Christ in my own strength and understanding... And eventually knowing and understanding grace and finding rest in Christ alone. It is a beautifully written story with an intriguing mix of characters. Whilst deep, it is also funny and moving emotionally, particularly living out what Cadi has made things mean and the effect this has on her. I can totally relate to that! And like her, it took the TRUTH, Jesus to redeem me and speak what is true to my heart dispelling all the lies. I would recommend this book for anyone: looking to return to their first love in Jesus; seeking and searching for the truth and wanting to understand the message of the gospel in a non-theological and non-threatening way; who enjoys good Christian fiction that brings the Word of God alive; and anyone who has experienced childhood emotional trauma that has negatively impacted your esteem. It will help the latter process in the light of the Word of God walking with Cadi as she processes her experiences and finds healing and new life.

As usual Francine Rivers wrote a book that is captivating, full of adventure and love. Always she points to the author of love and gently nudges us to come closer to the Lord and who each of us has been called to be.

Francine never disappoints! Great storytelling
This is my third book from Francine Rivers after Redeeming Love and A Lineage from Grace. I can't compare them obviously..but I really love her writing style. I could dive into the fictitious woods and almost see all the characters in my mind!Absolutely love how the man of God brought such a delightful touch into the story and how they started sharing the good news of the gospel. A good book to understand that we're all sinners even when we feel like we're the worst sinners on earth..and above that, a great book to be remembered that God can forgive us all by his mighty grace!

Weiteres tolles Buch von Francine Rivers...

This isnt my favourite Francine Rivers book
This isnt my favourite Francine Rivers book. In fact its my least favourite of hers, but thats not to say I didnt like it at all. One thing I love about her books is her historical insight. She can take you right there where the story takes place and I tend to not want to but her books down. I dont sleep, or clean or do anything when Im on a reading bender where her books are concerned. This one lacks the romance her books usually contain as it is from the eyes of a little girl. On one hand that is probably what is missing for me, but at the same time its a somewhat refreshing perspective. I think I was left wanting more development from some of the characters. I love her books, but as I said, this one was my least fave so far.
