If you have to cut the same length of anything (wires, ribbons, etc.), these rulers work very well. You can adjust the guides to any length on the ruler and cut without having to remeasure over and over again.

It felt a little clumsy at first but I'm getting used to it.

Accurate and durable. Perhaps doesnt have quite the same quality finish as the "red bird" brand, but at 1/10 the price, it really is a good deal. I checked calibration vs WP and it is dead on. Like ut so much, bought one for my neighbor as well!
