The Spells Bible

I love this little book. It has a lot of wonderful spells that are easy to follow.

I personally Love all the Bible series! on Wicca, Spells, Astrology, I even have the Tarot Bible that was my 1st one. There petite in size , so you can take then any where & they are loaded with information. Worth the purchase, I also noticed their pricey if you don't purchase on Amazon.

This book is small in size, but large in its range of content and contains a little bit of everything. If it's your first time looking into the realm of spells, this would be a good purchase for you. The book is well organized and easy to understand. I was very pleased with the range of origins that the spells themselves came from and I'm glad to add it to my collection.

This is a good book giving a quick overview of spells of a wide range of purposes. Casting spells is not as easy as I thought. The most difficult piece is the preparation of materials required.The author did a good job in providing the information in a very structured way. Time, materials, procedures, etc are all given in a consistent pattern. This helps a lot those planning to cast spells.

So this book may technically have never been owned before, but it appears to have been handled quite a bit, as the cover is dulled, my guess is from being scuffed against other books.It is otherwise in good condition, but I did expect a brand new, mint condition book.The content is wonderful - full of spells, with the same glossy and attractive presentation as other titles in the "bible" book series.

has lots of great pix easy to read

This is a comprehensive collection of spells and is a perfect addition to the "Bible" collection.Always make sure you are not getting an ex library book, if you are looking to collect them.The last thing you want to do is have an unsightly sticker that is difficult to remove.This is a great book for anyone interested in spells and building up their library.

Three stars doesn't mean it was horrible. Rather, I'm happy I bought it because it has what most other book of shadows lack greatly, which is actual pictures of the spells as they look. I am not wiccan by any means, but I AM a very visual person. Pictures of the process, even if staged is invaluable.I think it's really a good book if you're a wiccan, and if you're an already well developed pagan it can give you some really interesting ideas to keep your practice mentally stimulating.My big pet peeve is that all wiccan books are modern, because the practice is a modern approach to a combination of the old ways (almost every wiccan will tell you it's an old religion, but I study religious anthropology, and no, it isn't). A whole chapter about spells for the work place made me embarrassed to purchase, and EVERY wiccan book has love spells, of which are invasive in my opinion. If you buy it for inspiration, then it gets five stars. If you get it because you think it teaches an old religion, it gets one. I bought it after looking at it in the store, I would recommend that to others as well.
