SUNUV UV Light for Gel Nails, Professional UV LED Gel Lamp SUN3

After my local nail salon raised their prices yet again for a pedicure, I decided I could do it myself. I researched and read so many reviews and decided on this SUNUV Light. It has worked perfectly to deliver amazing gel pedicures that can last me up to 2 months! I am not an expert or trained in any way to do nails. I was a complete beginner when I bought this and it has been so easy to use. If you are on a mission to start doing your own gel manicures and pedicures, this is what you need! I will point out though that you can only do 1 hand or foot at a time; however, that does not bother me since I simply paint the other foot while waiting. Be sure to invest in a quality clear gel base and top coat, as well as some pretty gel nail colors. I am preferential to DND and will stick with those as they have worked amazing and what I always requested at the salon. I also typically double my time for each layer, since I use sparkle gel polish and know that you need more time for the gel to harden when dealing with thicker sparkle polishes. Lastly, after you have completed each layer, at the end, I always give my nails a spritz of alcohol and wipe the residue with a soft washcloth. People are divided on this step, but that is how I do my pedi and how the salon does it too. My pedi typically lasts 8 weeks. I love having my own gel and this light to do any touchups too, without having to drive somewhere and pay for the gas and salon. It saves me so much time! The machine paid for itself after 1 application, but the time it has saved me is everything!. I have been using it for 8 months and it has been wonderful. No issues. It is also relatively light, so if you want to start a business doing nails or need to bring it somewhere like college, this would be easy to toss in a tote and carry.

Does cure had gel and polishes. Must cure several times but things harden down. Way better than cheaper versions. Actually works.

I’ve found the Professional SUN3 lamp to be a reliable workhorse for my gel manicures. The smart sensor is highly responsive, and it cures gels quickly and evenly every time. It has a low heat mode, as well as a double power mode. The base is also removable. It’s a perfect gift for anyone interested in high-quality home manicures.

Love this light!! i do my own nails and also craft with 3d builder gel and this is the best curing light i've had! i've gone through 3 others! would recommend!

It’s a good lamp but it would be better with a removable bottom. I think I could have got a more functional one cheaper. Having said that it works great and dries fast.

UPDATE-after 7 months, I STILL LOVE this light. I still haven't used the low heat option, but after pressing the button, I can see it turns off some of the LED lights. I don't have a need for this, because I don't think the light gets hot. ----------------- So far, I love this light, but I've only had it about 6 weeks, and only used it 3 times. I started doing my own gel nails at home with a CFL UV light because it was more affordable at the time. I've had that light for several years, and after a lot of reading, I decided to upgrade with this LED UV light. The price was affordable (less than the cost of one salon manicure), and the features are FANTASTIC. I have also noticed that my manicure lasts longer now. With the CFL light, I was getting just about a week before the polish would lift and peel at the tips (especially red colors), so I was painting my nails every week. I am now getting at least 2 weeks before the polish starts to lift on the back side where the nail grows out. With this LED UV light, I can paint my nails in about 30 minutes, compared to an hour with my old CFL UV light. I can fit both hands inside the light at the same time (laying one hand over the other, and mixing my fingers together), and there are lights on the sides, so my thumbs are cured at the same time. There's plenty of room in this light, so I'm not squeezing my hands in or hitting the edges like I did with my old light. There are automatic timers on the light, but I don't use them for myself because the light turns on when I put my hands inside (I don't have to push the start button), and there's a display on the top of the light so I can see how long my nails have been in there, and then the light turns off when I take my hands out. If I were using this light on someone else, the automatic timers would be useful. There is a low heat mode, but I haven't used that either, because I haven't had a problem with my nails getting hot. At this time, I would recommend this product.

This is a nice led curing lamp. The timer effectively shows the seconds left and counts down until time is up. The gel cures quickly but you have to place your hand closer to the opening of the lamp. One minus is that there is no power button and to power off, it has to be unplugged.. not a dealbreaker for me, but may be for some..

I purchased two of these, they worked well and looked great at first but only after 2 months of purchase.. 1 has completely stopped working and the other is having issues and the refund window has closed.

The lamp doesn't cure that well which could be dangerous for you and your customers for any type of gel or acrylic. I warn you don't buy, this is literally my worst purchase but I have to make due at the end because I'm broke ASF😭

Me gustó mucho! Es de muy buena calidad. Sólo tomen en cuenta las medidas por que no es tan pequeña. En general bien, solo que es blanco y yo creía que era como fría claro. el detalle en acero viene un poco irregular. Funcionamiento perfecto. Funciona muy bien con el esmalte de gel.
