Bought these to have spare 'speedplay' pedals on another bike to stop swapping over pedals. They are awful, the pedal doesn't create a good hold. Definitely wouldn't go out in a group with these. A simple twist out of the saddle and your foot would be out before you know it. The metal C clasp in the cleat is much more flexible than an original speedplay pedal.The only thing that's of use is the plate that goes agains the shoe, they give two different versions depending on the angle of your shoe. These can replace worn ones and the replacement screws. Save your money and buy proper speedplay, avoid these.
