Timy Wooden Alphabet Puzzle Board

I Just Received The Package Today I Opened The Package up I Was Very Happy Cause Since This Quarintine Coronavirus Mess Been Going on We Have Been stuck in The House and My Toddler Kids Really Didn't Have Any Educational Toys to Play With so That's why I decided to Order This Wooden Alphabet Learning Toy and I Must Say it was not Really Worth it it Came Broken it was Peeled Somewhat on The Back side Down at The Bottom Just Ridiculous and I Don't Even Think This was Worth My $10 That could've went on Some Learning cards Instead Because I was so Happy waiting on this for my Kids to Play with it and it came all beat up and peeled on the back side but it is Sturdy it's very Hard not Flimsy at all that's just about The Only Thing I liked about This You , Anyway I would not be Ordering This Again.

I was very surprised with the quality of this puzzle given the price. It compares very well with our Hape & Plan Toys wooden toys.Uses:-My 3y3m old plays with these to help identify letters or just organizing them as a puzzle.-She also loves to line them up in a straight line. She gets good practice with her alphabetical order and her motor skills.Puzzle pieces:-The pieces are a nice size for little hands (pic shows 3 year old)-The pieces are smooth and well painted and they are veryBoard:-Board is very smooth, lightweight and sturdy.-The slots for the pieces are not very deep but deep enough for the pieces to slide in.

The pieces are solid but the base is flimsy and the letter spots are not very deep. I was hoping for a little better quality, but it does the job.Updated Review (7/12): The manufacture reached out to me, they have since fixed the puzzle base issue making it better quality and the slots deeper. They replaced my current puzzle. I am very happy with their customer service, and my daughter still loves to play with the puzzle, the letters have help up well.

The board is blank which is ok but I think it makes it a little harder to put the letters where they go. I painted mine with paint pens to make it easier, and painted the backs of the letters black.I don't like that the letters aren't symmetrical when they could be. For example, if you have the s upside down and backwards it won't fit. For a toddler that doesn't make much sense and I feel like it punishes them when they actually got the letter right. Also, the m and w are just slightly different. There's no reason why they couldn't be interchangeable for the same reason. Even when I put it together I found myself having to try them in both spots. Painting the backs helps with this and painting the board matching colors helps too, but it'd be nice if in the future the company fixes those problems.

The board and pieces of this puzzle were a little more lightweight than I expected, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Between the temptation to throw small items and possibility of dropping the board on his toes, I don’t really mind them not being heavy. My son is just now beginning to learn a few letters, and he really enjoys identifying the ones that I ask him to. I think it will be a great tool for him learning more since he really enjoys puzzles. It’s a little more work for me to put back together when the game just becomes “dump out all the pieces”, but I guess that’s part of the deal, right? :)

Totally great puzzles. Especially for older toddlers. My toddler is young (almost two) and loves puzzles. These work great, but a couple of the pieces are small on the number board so I just have to watch her while she uses it so she doesn’t put it in her mouth. Great value.

This was to replace a former nice and sturdy ABC puzzle that we had to toss for reasons only a toddler could do haha. This puzzle will do okay, but my child is very confused on the “N” and “J”. (Just because they’re not the traditional capital letter font) I’m sure we’ll figure it out in time but for the price of the puzzle I am going to note in the review.

I bought it for my daughter as a Christmas present. The letters were smaller than I expected, but it’s of good quality. My daughter likes it.
