FukuFuku: Kitten Tales 2 (Chi's Sweet Home)

My 6-year-old loves this book. The only reason she puts it down is to read the author's other series Chi (also starring a cat). I'm not sure I see the brilliance -- it is light on plot and character, and really does just consist of "cat does something cute that lots of cats normally do. end of story." over and over and over. But I rate it well because it seems to hit home with its audience well -- cat loving kids.That said, I recommend Chi instead. That story is also mostly about a cat doing cute things, but it actually has some plot and character and progression.

I’m so happy I finally found a copy of this manga. It came in good condition for being used, too. I really like these types of comics because it’s something funny and cute to chill out with. Especially if you’ve had a rough day and just want something without drama. Kinda like watching animal videos on YouTube.

My 8 yo son adores these books! They are such a bright spot in the current literary mess of youth literature.

This book is an absolute favorite of second grade girls and boys alike. Highly recommend!

Volume 2 is just as adorable as volume 1! FukuFuku does all the things I remember my cats doing when they were kittens. Hope that Ms. Kanata has more volumes planned!

A great volume of the little kitten adventures and a lot of laughs. Honestly I can't imagine who wouldn't love this series.

My 9 year old son loves all the Chi's Sweet Home books and this was no exception. He can't wait for more to come out!
