Used to always use a cheep pair of scissors in the garage \ shop since they easily were destroyed. These hold up well and do a better job for a few bucks more. In the long run these should be cheaper. These are already more versatile than normal scissors in a garage setting.

I bought these scissors so I could have a pair of electricans shears at home. They have a nice comfy grip and come with a holster which I liked.There was only one problem. When I opened the scissors to use them they WOULDN'T close. As it turns out the wire-capture/indent in the blades was catching on the other blade of the scissors. At first I thought I just got a set with bent blades, but on a second glance I noticed that the edges where the scissor blades initially meet (see pictures) were both hard-edges and were catching on one another.The fix was REALLY simple. Using a file, I just broke the straight-edged tip of the "hook" where the blades initially come together (circled in RED) on both blades. About 3 light strokes with a file on either side to break that tip just slightly and now the scissors work perfectly. They're ridiculously sharp and have been a welcome addition to my home workbench ever since.

I’m no “handy-man” I have had a cable wire I’ve needed to cut for the longest time and finally got these. It worked great and seems like it would definitely benefit as a multi use tool.

Sturdy

It's a great set of scissors on the construction site however using them day in and day out the durability of the scissors are not up to par to other brands. Within 3 months the bolt that holds the scissors together are loose to where I am unable to cut anything and the wire stripper side is already dull. For one off projects this is great, but for electricians and professionals, this will not last in the long term.
