Human Communication: Principles and Contexts 13th Edition

The book provides good overview and some more. It is excellent if you are focusing on communication aspects. I find the general management skills part was more intensely discussed in Developing Management Skills by Whetten.

I was fortunate enough to actually have Dr. Tubbs as an instructor and he is a wonderful teacher and fabulous human being. Come to Eastern Michigan to take the class with the best!

Easy to understand terms and concepts out of this book. Needed it for a communications class. Interesting book

Easy to read as an e-textbook, but the chapters are too long, with too much information. In class my professor covers the important ideas which aren't dwelled on so much in this book. Plus, she gives us a handout for each chapter with all the info and key ideas we need to know. Waste of $70.
