Nice upgrade for the Model Y
This is a very good upgrade for the Tesla Model Y if you are interested in interior ambient lights that turns on and off with the standard ambient lights in the car. The end results look great but there are a couple of small compromises that I will detail in my review. The kit comes with more than enough tools for the full installation job. I'm relatively comfortable with making simple modifications in the car and have experience removing the footwell panels required for this installation. I would say the installation is easy to moderate. The only difficulty I encountered is that the driver side cable is a bit short to completely hide the wiring. I was able to keep the driver footwell light in the correct place, but because the wiring to reach the footwell light connector is too short, the only way I could make it reach the driver footwell light is by having part of the wire go across the air conditioning vent. If it was longer I would be able to hide it behind the footwell panel. Other than that the installation is pretty straight forward and I was happy that the dashboard light strip was easier to install than anticipated. I didn't need to use the tools to be able to press the light strips into the dash. Once installed, there are a couple of less than ideal areas, of which I have attached pictures. The center console area will be filled with the control box and a lot of wiring. I have a console tray in there so it will be cumbersome to access the space below it. The good news for me is that I don't use the center console storage too often, and I can still fit my J1772 adapter in the tray I have. The center console light strip's connection to the lighting source is pretty loose, so I used some black electrical tape to hold it in place. The other area that's less than ideal is the visibility of the wiring for the button to control the lighting and, to a less extent, the lighting source wiring for the dash light strips. The control button has a red wire, so it's a bit more visible than I'd like. I mounted the button behind the center screen under what looks like speaker grille. The red wire and the lighting source/wire are fairly visible by the passenger entering the vehicle. But once seated, it's pretty much out of sight. I found that the dash strip lighting source wiring on the driver's side is fairly well hidden from the driver's perspective. I'm OK with this setup and will leave it as-is. If you do not want the red wire visible, you can either mount the button on the passenger side very close to the edge of the footwell panel, or just not install the button and completely rely on the phone app to control the lighting. Once installed and working, the lights look wonderful at night. Both the control button and the app are very responsive. It's pretty cool that the app allows for basically any color to be mixed and displayed and gives the interior of the Model Y some nice extra pizazz at night. During the day the light strips blends in very well with the metallic trim and look OEM. It remains to be seen how long these lights will last. But they look good enough for me to consider getting another set later on as a backup in case something goes out. I think if you are interested in ambient lights that look fairly OEM and turns on and off with the car's ambient lighting, this is a pretty good choice.

Great looking upgrade to the Tesla Model Y and fairly simple to set-up - A MUST
Was looking at the NesTour - but those needed a lot more wiring/cabling/adhesuive, this was fairly straightforward and almost identical install after watching countless YT videos, but simpler. I think these LED additions look beautiful, similar to my MB GLE in terms of mood, the brightness of the cabin (configurable), and the luxurious feel. Lights can be controlled by the app, the on/off button I mounted on the side console, or the cigarette plug-in. I leave the last two on and let the main controller turn them on/off automatically. I have a slow transition set between a 7-color set in the app, there are so many options to choose from in terms of colors, transition, and duration. It can even sync to your music playlist. However, the big knock I have, which could be a deal-breaker for some, is the wiring comes up short in a couple of places. The driver-side footrest light cable is the worst. You can see how I basically have the light hanging out, it's the farthest I could get it, and used the extra clips they sent to mount it. No longer OEM-looking, but unnoticeable unless you're looking down there, and don't think about it! Hopefully, I don't kick it by accident, and it's kind of nice how much it illuminates that side. I had to spend most of the installation time on this issue and settled with having it stick out. Another area cables are too short is where you stuff the sub-controller in the armrest, my storage tray add-on is really snug, almost jammed in just to fit. The wiring isn't too thick or too much, just short so I can't shove down the storage tray all the way. All-in-all, I'm still happy with the purchase, the car feels "preemo", the inside looks great and it's worth keeping.

Impossible to install on your 2022 model 3 long range without damaging your console
Everything is easy until you reach the curve where the sliding door opens . It is impossible to install. The installation video shows being installed on a previous model and not the 2022 model 3 long range or performance which they advertised to be compatible with.

Nice upgrade
Positiv - Good price to what you get - Easy to install - Looks OEM, looks a little bit futuristic and minimalistic - Turns on/off when headlights turn on/off (turns on when it gets dark), and turns on when you open the doors (turns on with the interior lights) - All the cables are long enough (Model Y mars 2023) - Nice colors - Thin light strip, not easy to see when turned off, blend well with the rest of the interior - Footwell lights are much better/stronger than original - Easy to adjust with the app Negative - The light is stronger some places on the light strip, especially in the bends on the centre console - The doble sided tape on the clips to fasten the cable, has no glue and does not stick to anything. But it does not matter because it is better to fasten the cable by putting it in some panel gaps - There is no option to buy lights for the back seat. I think many would buy this. They could have sold 2 ekstra lights for the foot well - The app did not work the first time. Had to delete it and download again, then it worked I would buy this product again

Great Product, But Caused Signal Interference
I really like this kit. it was easy enough to install; probably about two hours of taking it slow. Getting the strip into a few spaces took a bit of patience, but I got it all secured, seated, and snug, even around the center console bends. The trim portions were a bit of a battle, but went on easy after I got it started. Wiring takes some work, but the provided spudgers made the work easy enough. My one big problem is the button. It looks like the parts I have are slightly different than those in other photos. I imagine this product has gone through multiple iterations as parts become scarce/cheaper elsewhere. Once everything was installed, I noticed my car wouldn't lock on walk away. Then I realized the car wasn't playing music anymore after thinking initially it was an internet outage. I started going piece by piece through the setup. Unplugging the sub-controller didn't fix the issue, but the main being unplugged did. Somehow I got the idea to move the button and that fixed the problem. I had it placed just under the screen like another person in the review photos did. I then tried moving it to the top left back of the screen. Same issue; no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth. I'm not totally sure why/how a button throws so much interference, but I can leave it plugged in and away from the middle screen and everything works just fine. Now I just have to find a decent place to stow it. If it wasn't for the interference, I would give this kit a four for sure, and likely a five.

Auto Off/On!! 2023 Model Y. Looks OEM!
I wanted this version because of the auto on/off functionality. IT WORKS!! The install was almost step for step (driver side panel was different (Austin made Model Y?). It blends right into the dash and doesn’t require taping it to the dash like other products! Invisible during the daytime subtle at night! It’s definitely bright enough! I have mine at 20% because it’s distracting when driving if it’s higher 🤣. The parts and instructions were great! The app connected flawlessly. I don’t leave many reviews but I had to on this one. It’s exactly what I was hoping for and it works! Take your time with the install. Get it right and go slow. It’s worth having a great install at the end!

Better than competitors; integrates with the car's ambient lights
Update: Apparently inserting the middle console strip pushed on the aluminum trim and caused scratches/operation of the sliding door. Additionally, the tube cracked at the corner and is producing a bright spot there. Initial Review: I was relieved that the product worked, after going through a myriad of installation steps, trying to figure out every step that was NOT matching the provided instructions. The self-adhesive cable clamps did not adhere to the dash. Design of the lower dashboard in 2023 Model Y does NOT match the instructions. I was also concerned with a part of the driver side footwell light's wire hanging above the pedals and ended up securing it to the top with a cable tie. The mobile app ended up not doing anything for me, so I used the button control to set up the lights' color. I am happy otherwise and hope that the middle console wires won't get damaged by the lid - we shall see. Having the 12V cigarette lighter providing the power isn't ideal - can't the power in the rear part of the mid console be used instead and vacate the center console space? Overall it's OK and better than competitors that require you to operate the lights manually.

Works well for 2022 model y
I’ve had this installed for 9 months now and still works great on my 2022 model y. Considering I’ve never done any car mods myself before, the installation wasn’t bad. It took me a couple of hours by myself because the instructions for the footwells were wrong and I had to figure that out myself, but the center console and dash were fine. Prying the wood up scared me a bit because some parts had better adhesion than others. I had to push in the led strip quickly once the wood dash popped up or else I would lose my hold (female hands here). Some parts of the strips shine a bit brighter and looks less colored but it’s not very visible unless you’re looking for it. I keep mine at about 60% brightness. I wish I could add lighting for the back passenger too but overall I love it :) The app is confusing to use. To date, I’ve only figured out how to turn it on, off, and change colors.
