Freeman Brad Nailer Review
I use hard wood primarily and read the reviews for this brad nailer and decided to go for it. I purchased this tool for use in my furniture making hobby. It was very easy to load and use. You can load multiple sizes by simply opening the slide and replacing the nail set with a different size with out any need for adjustments. It is well balanced and feels comfortable in my hand although I have arthritis in both wrists& hands I was still able to have control of it during operation. The instructions provide recommendations for the operating pressure. I discovered I needed to increase my compressor outlet pressure by 10-15 psi to get it to drive a full 2-inch brad into red and white oak. I also found it necessary Freeman PBR50 18 Gauge 2-inch Brad Nailer to practice on scrap wood to get the feel for how keep the correct amount of holding pressure during the trigger pull to reduce the "double tap" where it fires two brads before you can release the trigger. Because of this I gave it only 4-stars out of 5.

Likes To "Dent" The Workpiece
I figured I would give this a try considering that it was relatively cheap and would not see a lot of use. What a mistake that was. I didnt encounter any misfires but with each shot the gun left a dent right above the nail. I tried to adjust my air pressure to aleviate the dents somewhat but that didnt help at all. Unfortunately the gun does not have a depth adjustment on the gun itself and neither does it have a nose pad which is the cause of the dents left by the gun. I have returned it for a refund and ordered the Freeman PBR50Q which does have the nose pad and the depth adjustment. These 2 attributes are necessary for woodworking. Hopefully, this gun will do the job for me, as I like the Freeman guns and have had no problems with my Freeman PFN64 16ga straight nailer.

flawless operation! Love it! Buy with confidence!
Flawless operation. Excellent in every way from the depth setting to the smooth, jam-free operation, (use oil as directed). This gun fits nicely in hand and has a comfortable weight. It is much easier to see where the nail is going to go than on my older porter-cable. I will replace my other nail and staple guns with Freeman as they need. Buy with confidence, this is a great product! If I have any complaint, it is that it did not come in a hard case but I was able to modify the old porter-cable case with a dremel tool. I am a professional and have used this gun regularly for months now. I love it!

Nice Nailer for the Money
For the money you can`t go wrong with this brad nailer. I bought it to replace my 30yr old harbor freight gun. It is well constructed and shoots brads perfectly. Did a nice accent wall out of vinyl plank flooring with it.

Brad Nailer
My son and I were laying down some 3/4 in hardwood flooring and needed a brad nailer. When we looked on Amazon, we found a freeman brad nailer and having already owned, used and know this brand to be a good product, we decided to buy one. What was better, it was on sale. Well, we enjoyed using it and it was just what we needed to finish our project.

miss shots
It shots every other brad nail, it makes me unhappy and makes my woodwork look bad. I won't never buy another Freeman product for my shop.

Freeman PBR50 18 Ga brad nailer
I received the nailer quickly and I was impressed. They even include a pair of safety glasses. I have had an opportunity to use the brad nailer to hang trim. I has performed great so far. I did have one jamb when the compressor plug was pulled and the pressure dropped. No problem clearing it though.

Great performer
This pneumatic nailer has performed great directly out of the box. It is light weight, but has the heft of a quality made tool. I found it to be easy to load and manipulate. A very balanced piece. It will become a regular in my bag of tools for trim and smaller projects.

Never owned one before...
Not sure how I managed all these years without this. Build quality, heft and feel are all good. Had excellent results the first use (replacing baseboards).
