Love this impact driver. Strong, portable and lightweight at the same time. Looking forward to using this bad boy for a long time. Can't complain bc I got it for a great price on Amazon too.

i was on the fence for a while contemplating which Brand impact driver to purchase. I checked a lot of reviews and settled on this one. Not one disappointment to date. I have found so many uses for it. I even purchased the drill chuck and has since retired my corded drill and my manual rachets. A seamless move from 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch sockets with a set of adaptors. I'm looking to add more tools in the near future.

I'll be honest, I was initially interested in this because I wanted another Makita battery, and the incremental cost of this versus just a charger and battery was minimal, so I got the impact driver as something of a throw-in. What a pleasant surprise that this is now my favorite tool.It's powerful, easy to use, and a joy for driving screws. I happened to be replacing all the hinges in my house, and the benefit of this versus a drill is almost impossible to overstate. For driving screws, especially longer ones (over an inch or so - I used up to 3" screws in my project), this is so much faster and more reliable. I think I stripped one strew out of several hundred taken out and put in, and that was my fault, not the tool's. Battery life has been incredible so far (even using only my 2A battery I wore out before the impact driver, let alone with the 4A monster this shipped with).I paid $109 and am totally thrilled with the purchase. I cannot recommend this particular package more highly; it's a great addition both to my other Makita hand tools and to my broader arsenal of DIY tools. I expect many happy years of use.

Got this today because my neighbor gave me his Makita drill combo kit with 2 18 volt batteries and charger. Because he uses the inpacts more the the drills, garage door guy like 20 years now. So now i have a inpact,1 new battery and charger. Super happy I'm always charging my old harbor freight stuff. Those other batteries work great with this inpact.

This was a great deal for $90. It works great very powerful takes a little practice to get used to I snapped a few screws of at first having never owned a impact driver the price went up but its still a great deal I would recommend this tool. And it arrived very quickly in perfect condition.

Makita power tools are the best for field or shop work. I have a degree in industrial arts and am picky about quality. These are the best.
