Yes, this bird is pretty small but I use this more as desk decor so it works for me lol. Now if you want to have something more functional, this might not be the item for you.

I have an all-white office, so I am in the process of adding colorul accessories. This is a very cute paperclip holder. It's small, although I looked at the dimensions before puchasing and it's the size I expected. Due to its size, it will hold about 30 paperclips. The larger paperclips don't stay on as well as the small/regular sized clips, so if you only use the big clips this might not be for you.This was pretty expensive for a plastic paperclip holder, but the magnets are very strong - I can turn it upside down and the clips won't fall off. There are 8 small magnets centered around the base. Although the base is plastic, it is sturdy, so it's unlikely that this will tip over.I think there are two versions for each color, one with the bird's head pointed straight forward and one with the head tilted sideways. I was hoping for the bird with the turned head, but there wasn't a way to select that, and I ened up with the bird that is looking straight ahead. Maybe this is a selection option that the seller can change.

I love this little guy! The base is a bit small, as others have mentioned, but I ended up perching him in the little dish where I throw my paperclips at work. The magnets + the dish together keep all the paperclips in one place, and his cute little face keeps me cheerful!

I love this cute little bird but was hoping it was a bit larger in size. I should have paid more attention to the measurements in the description. Overall, I love how it looks but wouldn't have purchased it if I knew the size I was receiving at such a cost.

This paper clip nest is so cute! It doesn’t hold a ton of paper clips, but the clips become somewhat magnetic, so you can get away with adding more and making them stick together.

I love this little bird who brightens any desk or work area. Make sure you read the description, especially about the size. This is a petite bird who takes up little space. The dish has imbedded magnets that hold the paperclips. On the box, it looks like the sparrow can hold a paperclip in her beak, but she cannot. I purchased this as a gift for a new teacher, and I was pleased with it.
