Plus Size Lot of 2/5 Wrap-Around Indian Sari Magic Knee Length Skirts/Beach Cover UP - Art Silk

I wanted to like these skirts, but I can't. I really can't find anything positive to say, unfortunately. First, the description says that the skirts are to the knee; this wasn't the case for me. Even when the skirts were hiked up and tied around my chest, the fabric still dragged on the ground. I'm short, so this wasn't going to work for me.Second, the fabric smelled TERRIBLE. Were these kept in a flooded facility? The water damage smell was overwhelming, and they definitely reeked of mold and mildew. I had to wrap them in plastic immediately because the smell was taking over my living space. I'm very sensitive to these scents, so I did have a reaction.Third, the colors I received were too drab and didn't go with anything in my wardrobe. I am aware that what's sent is at random, but the greens just looked bad. Plus, the cuts were uneven, so even if I did manage to get the skirts to fit right, the uneven fabric lots and cuts made it looked like I cut up old sheets to create a skirt last minute.I'm very disappointed with this purchase.

I bought this 2 piece set of wraparound skirts for my upcoming 10 day trip. I'm trying to pack light as I'm a chronic overpacker. Fabric was very creased from the packaging. And creases stayed in fabric even after hand washing and air drying. So I have to iron them - phooey! I think this fabric is too stiff to be silk - feels more like polyester, which I was not expecting. Package arrived on time - even in this subzero temp right now here in Chicago. I do like the 4 different patterns and the long belts for wrapping.

The construction is simple and the skirt is flattering. I admit that I did not love the colors of the first set I bought but I still liked them enough to order a second set! I liked the colors I got the second time around a lot more. The skirt goes around my waist about one and a half times and I haven't had any problems so far with the tie coming loose. I like the layered look although the serged hem sometimes looks a little messy. These skirts have simple construction, being cut with curves instead of gored or made with darts and it works out pretty well. I don't think I need more than four so I probably won't order any more but I would recommend them.

Strongly smells of solvents/gasoline. Colors are terrible. Not worth the price. Cannot recommend.

The fit was great. Perfect length. However the weight of the fabric was more than I was looking for for travel to a warm/hot environment. Also you don’t get to choose the print, so these are not colors I would normally wear.

The skirts are beautiful and comfortable. I liked them so much that I ordered 5 more.

So light and pretty! Perfect for a hot outing here in the midwest!!
