Kit makes creating a wire trellis easy. Especially found the tensioners to be helpful

I bought this kit as part of a project to put up a trellis for some Carolina jasmine that my wife wanted to grow up our fence. While I do not consider myself a super handyman/DIY type, this kit was easy to use with the video instructions on both the Amazon and Youtube sites. In fact, it was so easy, I may start looking for other things to do with the left over wire.

Everything looked good to start but, starting the first end, found that there were no wire rope thimbles. Check and verified that there was suppose to be 12×1/8 Wire Rope Thimbles as part of the package. The thimble that goes around the inside of the loop to prevent it from collapsing. Now need to return and order another kit.

Used to trail wisteria along an external wall, the kit was fairly simple to install. Only difficulty was with the cable sleeves, unless you’ve got (or buy) a hydraulic crimping tool they are impossible to crimp. I gave up and bought some wire rope clamps instead

Es ist alles dabei was man so benötigt. Die Dübel habe ich nicht benutzt, sie machen optisch keinen guten Eindruck. Die restlichen Komponenten sehen ganz in Ordnung aus. Bei der Montage der Einschraubhaken in meine Holzpfosten ließen sich die Haken nur mit Nachdruck zum Eindrehen in die vorgebohrten Löcher bewegen. Das Gewinde ist wohl nicht ganz optimal hergestellt. Schlussendlich sind sie ausreichend tief eingeschraubt und sollten für den Einsatzzweck als Rankhilfe halten.
