The Leviton 4934 2-Gang Flush Mount has been a solid addition to my DIY toolkit. I've used it for a couple of home electrical projects, including setting up a new outlet in the garage and adding a receptacle in the basement workshop. Its sturdy aluminum construction gives me confidence in its durability. One thing I really liked is how straightforward it was to install. The fit was perfect, and the finish blends well with the surroundings, which is a nice touch for a usually mundane part. In my life, I have purchased more than 10 flush mount metal plates. This one is by far the flushest! The craftsmanship of the pressed aluminum it’s beyond compare! Never have I seen such beauty in any kind of wall plate. Sure, there are wall plates with lines, there are wall plates that are smooth, and there are wall plates that are wood; But until you have purchased a flush-mount metal plate from Leviton, you have not experienced wall plates! The spacing of the screws was near perfection… The center circle is the cleanest 360° available on the Internet; and, without question, the wall plate was a true square! But wait! There’s more… Not only was the flush-mount metal wall plate an icon to behold, but the packaging in which it was shipped, was a similar work of art. The small cardboard box was folded so that the flush-mount metal wall plate fit into it perfectly, almost as though they were grown together or, at the very least, made for one another. I have in the past been asked to write reviews for products; usually, I decline. But your having taken the time to send me an email to ask me to review an aluminum, flush-mount, metal wall plate, how could I possibly decline? Therefore, I will say that EVERYONE should buy this flush-mount metal wall plate even if you don’t need it on your wall… It is, in some parts of the world, considered an omen of good luck to have a flush-mount metal plate in your junk drawer.
