We bought this dinnerware to take on extended car trips. No more styrofoam trash! This dinnerware arrived in 2 days; lightweight, well designed, well made, and well packed. Just what you'd expect from an Australian company! I especially like the higher edges on the plates.

I love this Koala Gray Wheat Straw dinnerware set. It is a minimum of plates and bowls. You get a service for 4 that includes bowls and dinner plates. I am so sold on getting more Wheat Straw items. I have just been learning about how environmentally friendly Wheat Straw material is. Used in this dinnerware set it has many advantages. I like the look of these plates and the color. They look like stoneware. The plates have a deep rim, which is good for young eaters and using outdoors.I plan to use this for camping, picnics, cookouts on the patio, and for the grandson. I like how durable and unbreakable these are. The grandson won't break these ones. You also need this kind of durability when camping or eating outside.I like that these are microwave safe and dishwasher safe. When using the microwave, I would not want to heat something for a long time. Probably no more than 2-3 minutes. The plates are good for up to 120 degrees Celsius or about 240 degrees Fahrenheit. Reheating food should probably never get close to that, but I am cautious.Another concern is that these plates will show wear after a while when cutting food. It seems like they do scratch and I am concerned that these won't look very nice after a while.I like all the benefits of using Wheat Straw rather than plastic plates. I appreciate the eco-friendly aspect. I did expect the price to be a bit lower. The price for this small set seems a bit out of whack when compared the larger 16-piece set. They are listed as "Premium." which I don't know what that means when it comes to these type of plates. Wheat Straw is becoming more of a trend and I expect to see prices reflect that.

Happy with my purchase. I wanted a set of light weight, microwave safe and easy to store dishes for casual dining and occasional camping trip. These did not fail to impress! The material is thick but very lightweight, and no problems with throwing them in the microwave and dishwasher.

Plates and bowls are nice and all, but despite the box saying koala grey, I'm almost completely convinced I got the beige set by mistake. IF this is, in fact, their version of grey then the advertised pictures are very misleading. I'll be sending back.

Our kids grew out of their colorful plates and bowls at 10 and 7 years old. These products were a perfect solution so they can use unbreakable dinnerware but it looks grown up in front of their friends. Thank you! The dishwasher and microwave save aspects are a lifesaver.

Durability and light weight , it’s money well spent

These look great, I bought them for our kids who were fighting over the old kids' Ikea coloured plates. They look so much better and do the drink. Love that they are dishwasher and microwave safe.

Looking for plates and bowls for the RV before I go bush. These are great. Non-breakable, slightly flexible and something unusual - water beads on the surface of these items. Consequently, oils and fats would probably not be absorbed into the material, discolouring it over time.Some depth to the plates so your kid's peas are not likely to roll off.I discovered the plates make excellent frisbees. Aerodynamic dinnerware. Who would have guessed?Was looking for a cover for food in the microwave...drilled a geometric pattern of holes through one of the plates and it works like a dream.

I bought these primarily for our 5 year old boys. The plate have a high lip around them which prevents food falling off the plate. The bowls are a good size for cereal and the like. They are dishwasher friendly and look really good. Also good for picnics. Happy to recommend these. Cheers!

These are great for our family's outdoor and casual dining - easy to wash and easy to pack away as they are quite lightweight. I will definitely be bringing these to picnic gathos as they are also aesthetic, minimalistic and perfect size to hold enough food, no more plastic bowls and plates!!
