Excellent Package!
Since we all know this is a legendary rock album, my review deals only with the packaging and quality which is A+. The back of the box says Made in Czech Republic. DMM.All 5 albums were nearly perfectly flat (un-warped). I was very relieved as LP's today are hit or miss. Big hit here! The box itself and coves are excellent. The high resolution photos throughout really pop out nicely.I am a fan of RUSH DMM pressings. Very quiet, low noise vinyl. I downloaded the 24/48 version from another site and therefore have everything I wanted except for the Bluray audio disc. I couldn't justify spending $150+ more for that single disc, especially without hearing it first. I have the 5.1 version from years ago and do like it on a high end system.I will take the money I saved by not buying the big box and buy another one of these 5LP sets. It remains to be seen whether or not these sets will remain in circulation, and therefore a backup set makes good sense.RUSH in their prime, high energy, firing on all cylinders. The only slight turnoff is the commentary in the booklet. I would much rather heard from Terry Brown or RUSH themselves instead of guys I couldn't care less about. I just skipped over it when I saw the names. But, the book is one read, stuff away forever anyhow. The audio is obviously what we are here for.

A great box set
Moving Pictures was one of my favs, next to 2112, so had no problem with paying the cost to get this one even though still have my 1981 original. Everything in it Rocks. Couldn't afford the super delux version but this one still worth every penny. Love the extra Live vinyls.

I don’t even like Rush, but I bought this for my bf and even I couldn’t believe how good it sounded.
Absolutely stellar sound quality, according to my uber audiophile bf. The lack of album length is intentional in order to preserve the phenomenal sound quality. I’m not a Rush fan, but because there was so much top notch work put into this project, I could definitely appreciate how amazing the instrumentation sounded. The band certainly gave it all for this recording.

Brilliant sound quality
Mind you I'm listening to the studio album right now from the 5LP set, and it's one of my best sounding vinyl. I absolutely can't wait to listen to the concert, but the studio album sounds so good I had to rush (no pun intended) and give it 5 stars.

Best Christmas Gift
I got this for my step dad for Christmas. He’s a huge Rush fan and has been looking to add more to his vinyl collection. He absolutely loved this gift and for less than $60, it’s sooooo worth every penny.Get this for your favorite Rush fan and I’m sure they will thank you forever.

1/2 speed mastering timeless album
Album itself does not need a review, one of the those albums you can play both sides without skipping a song. So far have only listened to the Moving Pictures album. Arrived in perfect condition, in cardboard sleeve inside another cardboard box. So far the album plays quiet, without any issues, wonderful sound. The $99 is a sound investment.

Postarei fotos a seguir. Comprei numa oferta aqui na Amazon e saiu por menos de R$ 1 mil reais.

Amazing Record Set
I'm a big Rush fan and this is a gem of a box set because along with the remastered studio album and a booklet, you get the full Toronto YYZ 1981 concert that was recorded in Maple Leaf Gardens on 3 LPs that is not available anywhere else. Apparently the audio was never released because Geddy had a slight cold for and was not happy with the sound of his voice. However, when you listen to it, he sounds great. The Toronto YYZ concert recording in this box set is much different than the 'Exit Stage Left' live record that was released in 1981. That album contains tracks from two different shows (Scotland and Montreal) but is not a complete set-list nor do the songs play in the order they were performed live. 'Exit Stage Left' also has edits mixed later to fix mistakes so it's not a purely live record.Hope you enjoy this box set as much as I have.

King of the Rush 40th Boxsets.
At some point the Rush blokes decided to celebrate a milestone in their album history, forty years on from the release of each album, beginning with A Farewell To Kings, we are been treated to a lavish new album cover, extras and the all important live albums. To a Rush fan the live performance of Rush is important, and if you need proof of that claim then just ask a Rush fan about the release of the Signals 40th set.Moving Pictures had to be good though, it's the album most if not all fans believe is their peak, the best album out of a list of exceptional Rush albums. But is it..?Well, the set I bought contains the album, four vinyl discs of live material and a album sized book all stored neatly in a box.The box is sturdy, displays the new artwork which I believe is not as appealing as the original, and the goodies within are accessed from the right hand side. The album itself has a glossier feel to the sleeve, the inner sleeve is a very classy black Matt with a circle in the centre that shows off the record centre label. The centre label peeks out at you with a camera lense as its picture. As I'm a Rush geek I had to play the original first before playing the new 40th anniversary disc, and I found that the latter sounded slightly crisper, digitally tinkered with, a definite difference. The live albums are both gatefold, again a glossy feel to the face and sporting a promo shot and live shot as the cover.Rush are known for their Hugh Syme created covers with the live albums also being given the Syme treatment. However it seems that Rush have created the MP40 live albums to stand apart from the others (All The World's A Stage/Exit... Stage Left etc), as though they are saying that these do not form part of the live album chronology but still serve as a record of their live performances. Many people believe that Exit... Stage Left sounds muddy, so they will be very happy with what is a more polished sounding live album. The book is very much like their tour programmes, aesthetically. It's the same size as a vinyl album, the cover is the same glossy paper as the inner pages, and it slips in at the rear of the set just nicely. The book features written homages to the album by a number of celeb Rush fans such as Les Claypool amongst others. Further artwork represents each song with a few more MP era pics of the band.It all sits snug in the box which is useful as you really don't want all four discs and a beautiful book to slide around in there and fall out every time you pick it up.Finally, top marks for the shop that sold it, the couriers both in the US and UK, and everyone else who moved this wonderful boxset from America to a little seaside town in Lincolnshire on the east coast of England.I bought Permanent Waves 40th at the same time from a different company, it came from Austria, stopped off at Denmark before landing on my doorstep just yesterday with a bit of damage to the box sleeve. This set came a lot further and arrived in perfect condition and just a day later.I would absolutely recommend this seller, and if you're a Rush fan who happens to have the original but is debating whether or not to go for this as well, do it.What makes these boxsets worth the money is the live albums, otherwise they are simply another remastered anniversary album. Rush fans love new Rush live material; 2112, AFTK, Hemispheres and Permanent Waves all included live albums. So bearing in mind MP is their biggest album, they had to go bigger and better than the others, and they nailed it.It's a great boxset, lots of music for a sub £100 set (I paid £70 but the price does fluctuate), an interesting book and lots to sit and look at whilst you either listen to a classic masterpiece or the live material.
