Just As Good As The "Electronic Cat."
The media could not be loaded. Ok ok ok, let me explain. I'm ALWAYS cold. Unless I am sweaty and sweltering, I'm probably on the verge of complaining about being cold. So what does that have to do with Electronic Cats... or what even ARE they? Thats what my partner calls my collection of various intensities and style of heating pads/blankets/shoulder wraps. Its just like having a nice sleepy purring cat to sleep on your lap without all the guilt of having to move them when you go to get up.I'll be honest, I haven't used this for its truly intended purpose yet because its summer time here. Anyone who knows me though knows that there was no way on Earth I'd be waiting until the warm weather staved off to use this. I plugged it in immediately in the bedroom and laid it out. The product was packaged well with extensive directions and information about how to care for the product. The pad itself is almost IMPOSSIBLY soft. I'd venture to say luxe. I was admittedly surprised as none of my other warmer products are this soft, not even close. The electric warmer now stays on my mattress until it goes into my spot on the couch this fall. The cord is long enough that there is no issue having it in either spot and it even comes with a wireless remote (I tried to show that in the video I attached too). While I didn't pop this bad boy into the couch cushion yet, I can say the various heat level options (indicated by fun colored lights and outlined in the directions) are absolutely cat approved. Every time I turn this on one of our many small feline roomates post up on it like I bought it for them!Stay warm out there, folks.

Very good at heating, not so much in installing
This bed foot warmer has the same design flaw of many other such devices. Whoever wrote the instructions for putting this on a bed has obviously not actually tried to follow their own instructions. You're supposed to put it UNDER the fitted sheet & then run it UNDER the bed, not between the mattress and boxspring, while ALSO not folding or pinching the cord. Think about that for a second. How does one feed the cord under a bed when there's a fitted sheet, top sheet, blanket tucked around the mattress? Unless you have a hole in them, you either have to run the cord between the mattress and boxspring or bend the cord at a 180° angle to drop it below the boxspring. Because of the inline controller, there wasn't enough length to get the controller far enough out from the mattress to run the cord between the mattress & boxspring so I had to bend the cord to feed it under the bed. If they had just added another foot of cord between the pad and inline controller it would have worked better. That being said, it warms up quickly and keeps my toes warm. Sometimes too warm, even on the lowest setting.

I have warm feet!
My feet are always cold when I go to bed! I’ve been looking for something to just warm the foot of my bed and this works great! It’s made to go under the bottom sheet. One side of the pad is a soft plush material and I’ve liked turning that side down on top of the top sheet so I can put my feet between the sheet and the soft side of the pad. It feels so nice!

Poor Design
Concept is good and it also appears to be the only product available for under sheet foot warmer. Product uses an RF battery powered remote switch which needs to be switched at the same time as the corded switch. They claim it pairs, however pairing only works once. The switch sensitivity is also set way too high meaning that it takes virtually no pressure at all to activate either switch. This function could be improved with a simple tactile switch, which is not available. Additionally the temperature is tied to the duration. The maximum duration is six hours. Oddly enough, it is recommended that we sleep more than six hours. Which means that when the temperature at the lowest setting and at the longest time expires you wake up. And as other reviewers have stated the switch has a very bright light, which in itself can keep you awake. It’s too bad that they are not other companies that have looked at this type of functionality because there is definitely a need for it.

FAR TOO BRIGHT!
PRO:- The fabric is very soft.- The first level of heat is adequate for me.- Having a bedside remote is nice if it works.CON:- Initially the light on the remote would turn off after a few minutes. That was a good thing because it was far too bright. A very small light to denote power would be preferable and it would be helpful for it to remain lit on the nightstand.- The remote stopped working within a week or two of use. I tried removing the batteries and pairing the pieces again. It was NOT successful. Now the remote does not control the unit and the light stays on at all times. I finally just removed the batteries for good.- The unit shifts often. It definitely can bunch up before a week passes.- I am often frustrated that the unit automatically turns off before I want it to turn off.- The level of brightness from the remote is far too high.- Finally and most annoyingly, the light on the cord is lit on the top, the sides and the bottom. This thing is so bright that it lights up the room. This is in a word ridiculous. It does not contribute to having an appropriate level of darkness for winding down and sleeping. I have tried pushing it under the bed, blocking the light by placing items strategically around the bed etc. I am not exaggerating, the thing is a major annoyance that has lead me to laughable and disappointing attempts to mitigate the brightness. I finally gave up for fear that trying to block the light might lead to some kind of hazard.

Love It!
Great idea to have a remote. Just love this product. Highly recommend. Perfect size. I rarely review anything but had to review this purchase. Now my husband can have the windows open all through the Michigan winter. Happy wife, happy life.
