Very nice 4 pounder
Very nice 4 pounder sledgehammer. I use this to sledgehammer on a wood slicers. Instead of using a larg sledgehammer this medium sledgehammer is perfect for the job. I used it for two hour straight and got no blisters. That tells me the grip is the perfect size and fit. This is worth the value for your money....

This hammer is a beast. I love it.
I am remodeling a utility shed, adding half-log siding to the exterior. I bought this hammer to support pounding 6" spikes through the half-logs, into the 2x4 framing. The hammer does an excellent job at driving the large spikes through the logs. The handle is long enough to give strong head swing-weight force to the hammer, generating power through the blow. The hammer appears constructed of quality materials, is quite heavy to swing, when pounding above your shoulders, but it does the job. I love the hammer for its performance and durability and highly recommend it.

Just get it
I was looking for a heavy hammer with a shorter handle to use in awkward positions...I work as mechanic for kenworth. This one with the shorter handle worked really well. I also really really appreciate the full surface area on the head, it really worked well driving out a pivot pin for a brake pedal as the pin sits about a inch off the floor. My other hammer i would usually have a harder time I was not expecting that to be a perk so I came here to put the note in

Not a good hammer for repeated usage.
I use it for land surveying and it's already falling apart. The handle is falling off of the head. They refunded me so I appreciate that.

Great Hammer didn't work how I needed it
This is a great hammer, well made. What I bought it for was to drive a Clothesline holder stake into the grass area of my backyard. This was at the direction of the company I bought the Clothesline from. Their video made it look easy to just pound their anchor into the grass. Unfortunately, the ground in my backyard was just too hard . I eventually had to actually dig a hole to install the anchor. That being said, I am keeping the hammer as I have already used it for other work projects and it is perfect for those. It is really solid and a comfortable fit for my grip. So I am giving 5 stars for the hammer, and less stars for the clothesline anchor on their site.
