These are fab, break in quickly and are extremely comfortable for country walks

Good quality andnl comfort.Just tested them in the Austrian Tirols, they were very comfortable and light.Regarding the size and your walking plans get at least one size larger than normal (depends on which socks you are planning to wear.

I bought 1 size bigger for a good fit, but it's a bit tight on the upper foot. Even when wet, it keeps the foot secure. I know it's meant for terrain only, but the only thing I didn't like about it is that it has zero grip on wet, hard surfaces like stones.

Fit well and durable,look good. Can't comment on waterproof as I haven't worn them in the rain.

Don’t bother with others. I have had 4 pairs and each time they fitted like a glove

Not as described, the shoe tongue isn’t in one piece therefore any water will get down the sides, and for such an expensive shoe they look cheap😩!

I am not really a walker but I needed a decent pair of walking shoes for a trip to New Zealand . I did a bit of research to find decent brand of walking shoes and this make was supposed to be good but while they are very comfortable they have never been waterproof .. maybe I was supposed to treat them but they get wet immediately you walk in wet grass and take ages to dry and they now smell awful … they are out of warranty so to speak so will just wash in the washing machine and use only on dry days … waste of £100+ … I will buy another brand for all weather walking Hope this helps

Got these for hiking and backpacking. They are great. Comfortable, rugged and pretty easy to clean.

Pure quality at a reasonable price. Wondered why I have never looked at shoes by Salomon. They have my attention now. That's where I will be heading for shoes for my kids
