Q: How loud is this tea kettle? i want a kettle for my office (i work in a library) so i don’t want it to be too loud. is it about as loud as a keurig?

It's blissfully quiet! Both during boil, and "courtesy" beeps. Just an FYI, It beeps when placed upon the stand, when finished boiling (or when reaching whatever was your temp of choice ), and periodically during the 2 ~ hr stay~warm feature. It's softer than a microwave ding, if that helps, lol. Aloha
