Salad Dressing Original Ranch, 8 oz

I give up. We all know this stuff isn't healthy. It's empty calories and additives and all the things that I told myself that I'd never feed my kids, but darn it tastes good. I spent years trying to make healthy versions of ranch dressing after I had my first kid. My husband complained, but my darling daughter ate them happily.... Then the school birthday parties started and she discovered "real ranch." Quickly she joined her father's bandwagon, but I was able to convince her that the healthy option was tasty and so good for her. She sweetly continued eating my nutritional-yeast-and-cashew-based substitutes (I know, I know). The second kid, however, tipped the scales too far. His first words were, "mama," "no," and "why does your ranch taste funny?" I was done. I admit it!!!! Hidden Valley Ranch is the gold standard. It's smooth and creamy and just the right level of herbs and garlic to make everything taste delicious. We can cut corners on junk food in other areas, but I have to admit defeat on this one. In fact, if you look at the ingredient list, it's not too bad - they are recognizable and pronounceable. MSG gets a bad rap IMHO, so I'm fine with it - it natural develops when you add salt to tomatoes; it's not some evil lab creation. A small "bad" for the greater good of getting my kids to eat more veggies is OK in my book. A ratio of 1tbsp of ranch per baby carrot is fine, right? ... Right?... Um, right? Fun tip: Ranch is a great white base for creative sauces. My kids didn't like beetroot, but a little ranch, and you've got a Barbie-pink veggie! We all have or know that kid who reacts to veggies like a vampire does to garlic. If ranch helps, go for it. Whatever it takes, parents - you've got this!! Literally THE BEST dip for pizza carrots and salad. Like your favorite buffet salad bar ranch omg. I just wish they had it in a bigger size. Other bottles in this brand for some reason don’t taste like this. But I will continue to buy this because wow

This is my favorite! The bottle is small and larger one cost alot more. I guess you get what you pay for.

I don’t like ranch on anything but this right here got me hooked! This ranch is not over powering on the flavors and just so good even with my French fries.

This stuff and ketchup are my main condiments. Everyone should have a bottle of this stuff for breaded chicken, nuggets, salads....whatever. Can't go wrong with ranch dressing.

Tried this ranch dressing since our favorite, Bolthouse was out of stock. It's not a bad substitute, however, Bolthouse is fresh, made with yogurt & tastes homemade.

I get why it’s by hidden valley because the bottle is so small I can never find it in the fridge. When I can find it, it’s a great flavor.

I like to eat healthy without sacrificing flavor. It's doable of course. Lately I've been trying raw broccoli as a snack, dipped in ranch dressing. So I'd go out and grab whatever dressing was handy at the store that said "ranch" on the label. They are not created equal! I tried a health food one, and it was really a creamy Italian. So I finally just went to the store and got this one. It is The Ranch Dressing. All the tangy cheeseyness you expect. Now I can enjoy my raw broccoli florets and other assorted crudites in peace.
