This is so cool. So easy to cook hard boiled eggs. Best purchase I've made. Now this did not come with anything to puncture the egg to help with pealing. So I had difficulty peeling the eggs. Im used to that so no biggy for me. I have not noticed any leaking. It's very quiet. There is a beep when finished. This was not mentioned in the description, so that was a great surprise.

I bought this from Amazon and was initially completely satisfied until I noticed a bubble in the non-stick coating. I only had for 2 months, beyond the Amazon return period so I contacted Hamilton Beach since it was warrantied. They asked all the cursory questions “use any metal in it” and similar. No, no. Ok. Well replace it for you at no cost. Just pay the $14.95 shipping costs. What? 50% of item? Never heard of this. Imaging your car warranty. Great news sir. Your engine replacement is covered just cover the $15,000 shipping and you’ll be good as new. Why am I penalized for their problem? My recommendation, spend $3 more and get one with stainless steel plate. No worries of non-stick flaking. I have no idea why I bought a pan that is non-stick. Non-stick is a limited life span item. I did not replace. I bought one with Stainless steel plate.

This thing is amazing. I love hard boiled eggs but refused to make them because i don’t have the patience to deal with the difficulty of peeling them but with this you just fill the cup with water to the doneness you want and turn it on. Cooking takes about 20 mins and just pop in cool water for a couple minutes to cool and the shells slide right off.

This makes fantastic egg bites and hard-boiled eggs. I whip up four eggs, add smoked gouda and crisped-up bacon bits and it is enough for four full-sized egg bites that everyone enjoys -(dogs included). Simple to used and easy to clean.
