helped my son with his gas at night. however it did burn even on 30 secs in the microwave and after only a month the velcro is basically done for.

I cant smell anything about the aromatherapy, but I have an absolutely terrible sense of smell. I CAN see though that the thing looks real cute. Ive seen older ladies use similar stuff, either bought or made, to relieve certains pains from you know what. Apparently the heat is good and its something humans have used for a while to cure simple ailments. This specific item is just an old method presented in a softer, cuter package for babies with the added feature of a band to keep it in place and add some pressure.As something that has been used for centuries, I think this is a must-have. You CAN make one with grains inside a fabric bag (which is what ppl used to do) but its just nice to have things for babies look cute, and 20 bucks or so is not terribly expensive

Overall, I do like this belly band. The pack inside of this one is a little bit different then another belly hugger that I have in the sense that this one is beads and not gel. I do like that these are beads, other than the fact that you can’t use it as a cold pack very well like you could a gel pack. I like the lavender smell, but it is a little bit strong, especially when it is heated up. That is just a personal preference but just know that it is not a very subtle smell. The band part itself is well-made and I’m glad the bead pack comes out so that I can throw the band part in the washer if I need to. This is larger than you would think. My friend that has a newborn let me put this on him for size comparison and it took up pretty much his entire torso. That just means that you can use it longer, but I am surprised that it is as large as it is.

This is the cutest owl I have ever seen! Smells really good after microwaving! Light lavender scent! Takes awhile to work but definitely soothes baby after nice warm bath!

I put this in the microwave and put it on the baby's stomach. She calms down after a while. Works well and costs little.

This is great for colicky newborns but works well for toddlers too! Whenever my two year old has gas pains or an upset stomach I like to warm this up and just place it on her belly without the Velcro and it helps soothe it!

This belt with a clay bead pad that can be heated in the microwave, helps soothe a baby with a tummy ache. I gave one of these belly huggers to a friend who has a newborn and she gets a lot of use out of it. The pack should be microwaved for up to 30 seconds.Once the pack is heated, just slip it into the pocket in the back and wrap around the baby's waist. This is a very cute, well-made belt. The current price of $24.90 is pricey for this. One positive about this one is that it has a clay bead pad instead of a gel pack. Gel packs tend to explode in the microwave if heated too rapidly. This  version  has a gel pack, so from that perspective, I like this one better.

I haven’t gotten to use this on a little peanut yet but I have to say that it is pretty awesome. I have had a few children I would have loved to have this for. It has a great smell, not too overwhelming. I like that it uses beads and not a gel so I don’t have to worry about leaking.This is so soft and will be easy to wrap around baby since it uses velcro. My absolute favorite thing is the fact that I can throw it in the wash if I need to!
