Duke Cannon Men's Solid Cologne, 1.5 ounce - Sea (Naval Supremacy Scent)

I dont write reviews, like ever, but Im going to say a little about this one. Ill keep it short though. I dont usually wear cologne, I think most of colognes just dont smell good. Too many chemicals or something. Oddly enough, Ive used “solid colognes” for years, but Ive never bought a “solid cologne”. I have bought soy based candles and really liked the pumpkin spice scent... and so did my gf. I used that as “cologne” for years... and most people really liked it. So, I decided to try an actual solid cologne and bought Naval Supremacy. Its perfect! It smells more like a cologne than what Im used to, but my wife says it smells like clean water. Its not super strong, but Ive applied it twice today and I can still smell it (seems to linger longer when applied to a beard or clothing). I dig subtle, so it works great for my tastes. Now, If you read this Duke Cannon, get the special editions available on Amazon so we can avoid the $9.00 shipping cost that you guys charge.

I ordered the Naval Supremacy (Sea) scent without having smelled it, which is a bit dangerous. However I am very pleased with this product. The scent is very fresh with subtle citrus tones. Everyone has different tastes in cologne, but I would say this one is fairly "safe". Not overpowering or offensive in anyway. One of the reasons I ordered this product was due to the convenience of the solid. Perfect for the gym bag, and also great for short travel where I don't check a bag and can easily throw this in carry-on. As for longevity, I would say it is in the shorter to middle range. I would definitely purchase again, however I think this should last quite a while and I might want to try the Air as well.

Wow I just received it way before the estimate date and this solid cologne is HUGE! but here are some things I'm not that happy about.The tin is damaged even tho the packing is great.The scent needs time to get use to... Friends said I smelled like I use a whole bottle of dish soap to wash myself in...I smell more citrus than "sea" in this scent and kind of overpowering... which is a little disappointing...In the bright side, the scent last really long! Like almost the entire day if you don't sweat too much... I used it in my pulse points and a little around my shirt. Might not be for me but might be for you.

I love this as opposed to a spray cologne. The scent is a very fresh, clean scent that is not overly powerful. Nobody mentions it unless I am very close to them, have a hug, etc.. And the compliments are always along the lines of "you smell so clean and fresh." My wife loves it, and says it is way better than my other colognes I've worn before. The only slight downside is that it doesn't last all day long. I put it on my wrists and on my neck, and by the time I'm out of work, you can't really smell it on the wrists at all. Not a huge deal, but if it lasted a little longer it would be outstanding. All in all, a great buy for the price.

I bought Land, Sea, and Bourbon. Here's what you should know:Land smells like a weird interpretation of what wood smells like. Kindof like if Laffy Taffy made a wood flavored candy haha. would rate that 2/5Sea smells exactly like the equivalent Thick Naval Supremacy soap you can get from Target, however, it does not really carry or last very long. It does smell good tho. 3.5/5BOURBON.......BOURBON....smells like a wood shop worker's flannel after going home and drinking a little glass of bourbon next to the fire in his study. Or at least...a cheap affordable version of that description (I dont want to overrate this as someone who cares alot about smells, this is certainly not a eau de parfum or high quality scent) But I love the ease of purchasing this product and the long-lasting and pronounced scent that it produces. Pleasantly surprised. Ordered this product on a whim, given the great reviews. I like the idea of a balm cologne for men - more controllable application. I am surprised by the size - I would say the tin is slightly smaller than an Altoid's tin. The cologne is very potent and a little goes a long way. I would store this in a dresser drawer or a cabinet you would like to freshen up. Can not yet comment on the longevity, but love the smell.Very masculine and natural. Fresh like "I just took a shower and put on deodorant" fresh. Just a clean smell. Great product

Smells great. Has a nice ‘soap’ smell. Doesn’t smell like obnoxious, overpowering cologne. Smells like you just took a shower. Has an “ocean-e” smell with flowery undertones. Exactly what I was looking for.Gave it 4 stars for longevity because it does fade after a bit and needs to be reapplied once in a while, but it last pretty good.And I have it 4 stars for value because it seems like it will last a while, but I’ll have to wait and see. Might change my ratings later depending on my full experience with the product.
