Worked until my ACD ate it
My little dogs, a pug and a Coton, loved their shark; in fact, they often battled to play with it. Then one day out of nowhere, I saw the shark’s mangled body. One of my ACD destroyed the poor shark. I can attest that it is a great toy for small dogs, but it is not designed for destroyers.A major design flaw is how fast the battery wears out, so the shark must be plugged in all of the time.

Safer than the real thing!
This is my second shark purchase. The other one lasted about a year before my dog was able to chew through it and break the motor. Out of all the interactive wiggly toys, this one has the most padding to it. The fish don't have enough stuffing and tend to break after a while because there's nothing protecting the power pack inside. The sharks motor sits in the body where most of the stuffing is and is accessed through a velcro opening inside the shark's mouth. Comes with it's own charging cable and the motor can be removed or left inside the toy while charging. There's an on/off switch so it doesn't keep wiggling around while it's charging or if your pet needs a time out. The body of the motor is cased in plastic for better protection. You'll see a red light inside the power pack while it's charging and once the battery is full the red light will turn off to indicate a full charge. I'd say a full charge lasts about a week give or take. Depends how often your pet plays with it. My dog likes to give her shark a few maulings with the occasional burial two or three times a week. It's by far one of her favorite toys to play with. That and the yipping ball that bounces and vibrates. She's still a puppy at heart and hasn't slowed down one bit. Having these interactive toys has helped keep her engaged and given her something more entertaining than a squeaky toy. To me, it's a very small price to pay for my dogs happiness.

Wont Charge
I was so excited when this first arrived. It worked very well for about 10 mins and my dog LOVED IT. Then the motor stopped working so I figured it just wasn't shipped to me fully charge so I put it on the charger. Well it never turned back on :( I've tried multiple different charging methods (two different charging blocks and from my lap top) and nothing works. My dog definitely didn't damage it at all in the first 10 mins of play. He is a 20lb chihuahua mix and does not have a strong bite. If I could just get a replacement motor that works I'd be happy but not sure how to contact the company.

Great toy terrible charger
I have now purchased 3 of these. The toys don’t last super long because my dogs are rough on them, but they do love them. The biggest issue is that the cord that comes with the toy does not work at all. Not a single one of the 3 I have functioned out of the box. They used the cheapest wire possible and it obviously broke when they fold it up for packaging. Luckily I am able to solder up a new one so I can actually charge the battery.

I wish I could love it as much as our dog does... Way too fragile!!!
The media could not be loaded. First off, our dog loves this... it engages her and keeps her engaged for quite a while. We've had it for a couple months now and it's still one of her go-to toys when we have it out (I take it up when the battery goes dead, otherwise she'll shred it). I think it's really cool that the tail has multiple speeds and patterns as well, that was definitely a nice surprise... It has great battery life as well.It has a squeaker in the head as well, however it's difficult to locate (it takes a bit for me to search for - our dog has never found it).UNFORTUNATELY... It's not durable at all...Our little girl is around 38lbs of fluff... She's an avid chewer, and a destroyer of many things (including various 'shredproof' toys). This was not an exception...I've reconstructed the face 6 times now from where she's torn it open and removed the stuffing... Frankly, I was expecting this, so it doesn't bother me all that much, however if your dog has a tendency to saw with their teeth, or pull at things, expect it to happen...The part that does bother me, however, is that the motorized tail itself is fragile... The video I posted with this review is from the day we gave this to her... during various parts of the video, you can hear the plastic flexing and creaking as she bites down. She also began pinning the head or tail down and biting down on the other end (a natural hunting instinct)... and she wound up stripping the gears in the tail mechanism...Now it flaps for a few seconds then begins clicking loudly while laying limp, then begins flapping again when the gears finally catch again...She still loves the thing, but it's now loud and obnoxious, and only partially functional...May suit a light chewer, but if you have a moderate to heavy chewer or a dog with predatory instincts (which this is really targeted to in the first place), look elsewhere...

My shark didn’t come with a charging cord
Gronk, whom is an aggressive Old English Bulldog will carry his shark around with kindness as he tears apart, every other toy, except for the squirrel he got last Christmas. I was looking for an interactive squirrel that made noises, but I came across the shark. My big bully man is afraid of so many things, and had so much fun getting to know and interact with this moving shark. But it didn’t stay charged long enough and bonus it didn’t come with a charging cord so I bought another one to see if it came with a cord. If this one doesn’t come with a cord, then I’m asking for my money back for both of them. Although my picky toy lover will pick up the fish ever so gently by its fin and carry this little fish around and it’s adorable.. Not to say that he won’t throw it & be aggressive with it, so far it has upheld his jaws of steal. I only gave it 4 stars because of the cord.

Really great toy - material could be stronger
The media could not be loaded. Great toy for my small border collie. It’s got a squeaker inside and sensory fins. The little device inside is really great. My dog is in love with this toy.Only reason I m giving it 4 starts is the material isn’t as strong as the kong toys . I d say supervise your dog when it’s playtime with this. As the device inside is soft plastic and they will definitely get through eventually . Other than that enjoy.

Easily broken
Puppy loved the toy, but the flipper inside is easily broken by a dog chewing. It now no longer charges so does not flip

Jouet divertissant
Mon petit Cavalier aime bien. Par contre le mécanisme est difficile à insérer et à retirer. Comme on doit le faire souvent pour charger et ouvrir et fermer, c'est ennuyeux. Le mécanisme semble solide.
