There are some unprofessional flaws in this book, like cards that do not have pictures for reference. However, it's a nice book to have.

I remember seeing this book in a Kay-Bee Toys about 11 years ago. I wanted it but bought Grand Theft Auto instead. I finally got this not too long ago and happy memories came back to me. But about the book, I thought there was more to it when I saw it before, like more pre-built decks and better descriptions for single-card strategy, but still a good read. Helpful for me, even nowadays. Very pleased.

good beginners book

This book had lots of writing throughout the book. Not what I was expecting. It was to be a Christmas gift for my nephew who is just starting to play with Pokémon cards and wanted to know how to play the game. Now I’m stuck with this book.

hard to follow for a young kid

I cannot tell you how much this book will change your game for the better. I read this book for the first time about four months ago and since then I have won six local Pokemon tournaments.
