My favorite low-price FSA/HSA-friendly cane on Amazon
Pros: Affordable, lightweight, FSA/HSA-friendly, good shock absorption, LED flashlight on the handle front, very portable and collapses easily. Decently sturdy and doesn't rattle too much once all of the pieces are snapped together.Cons: The light doesn't quite click into place, it just screw-tightens closed, so it tends to unscrew and turn off while in use if you hand rests on it at all, which it does because the light sit right on the edge of the grip.Mid: The grip is okay - not great, not bad, but it's soft rather than rigid like most cheaper canes.--I have lower back pain that tends to effect my gait, which causes further pain to my right knee and hips. For that reason, I've been experimenting with different canes on Amazon that I was able to purchase with my FSA card, and this one is my favorite. In my experiments, I found that some of the cheaper canes exacerbate my pain, but this one is about the right combo of really good low price point, decent construction, and comfort.Unlike some others I've tried, this cane has pivoting shock absorption in the foot and allows for a smoother stride for me, which I find really helps make the use of the cane more effective for me overall. The grip is soft, and I like that it has a flashlight on the front for visibility when it's dark out. The light feels a little cheap, to be entirely honest, but at the price point, it's a very nice feature add and it works well and has an easy to replace battery. My order also came with a cool glass-breaker mobility assist thing for the car door, which is certainly appreciated. My best recommendation for any new or experimenting cane users is to get something similar to this with some shock absorption in the foot, you'll thank yourself later. If you are new to using a cane and want something affordable and portable, this one is a really good option, in my humble opinion.

I liked the fact that it was light weight and pivots ...
I bought this walking cane for my 81 yr old dad who has peripheral neuropathy in his feet that causes him to be unstable while walking. I liked the fact that it was light weight and pivots depending on the type of terrain you are on. The bottom of the walking stick has 4 anti slip stabilizers which make for a more steady cane he can lean on. It comes with an extra set of stabilizer tips too. I did notice you can buy replacement tips as well. The LED light is a bonus for sure and comes with batteries installed. It's very helpful to light his way when he has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The handle is nicely cushioned. Oh and it can stand up on it's own. You don't have to lean it on something, which normally then falls to the floor if you didn't balance it just right against a wall or other surface He loves this walking cane and can't wait to show it off to his friends at the car shows! Overall, a great purchase. Made well and affordably priced! Just buy it. You won't regret it.

Very nice, slight issue
All in all this product has been great. Easy to set up, stable, nice broad base is very helpful. But slow down Charlie Brown, there is one issue I am seeing more and more. It has fallen over, when just standing on its own, a number of times now. On carpet and on flat hard surfaces. I will just set it aside and any from a minute to 10 mins later it'll topple over and hit the floor! Scares me! Scares my dog! I feel this cane should be able to keep standing on its own indefinitely. Thats all. Thanks.

Overall I like it.
First let me say that the cane comes with all the features as described in the Amazon posting and overall I like it. It's lightweight and sturdy enough for my 145 lb. weight. I think though that a 250 lb. person, depending on their proportions, might find this type of cane a little light. I like the 4 pad, wide, pivoting base which is more stable than that on a single foot cane. This cane however, like all canes, WILL SLIDE ON WET OR ICY SURFACES. This cane, like all canes, WILL SLIDE IN LOOSE DIRT OR GRAVEL. The first day I used it, I put the cane down in my kitchen on a small pebble that my nephew had dropped on the floor from his aquarium, and the cane started to slide out from under me on the linoleum. Fortunately I didn't lose my balance. The cane will stand on it's own on a flat level surface but, will fall over as soon as it's bumped. To keep the light from breaking, something I read happening to similar canes sold by others, I protect mine with a tennis ball. I traced around the light onto the ball with a pen and cut out the opening. I also drilled a 1/4" hole in the ball opposite that cutout and 4 more around the sides of the ball. Those holes will help to keep the batteries in the light ventilated so they don't get too hot on a warm day. You don't want to overheat the batteries. The holes also give you a way to tell if you mistakenly turn on the light when it's covered by the ball. Also, I don't know if the light is water tight so, I would cover it with a plastic bag when using the cane in the rain to make sure the batteries don't get wet. From this review you must realize I'm a worry wort.

A Real five star cane!!!
This cane has many attributes! It securely holds my 215 lbs easily without issue. The bottom foot pads are covered by a dome that makes for a much nicer look. Rather than 4 pads extending. It easily stands on a bare floor and can stand on a rug. It flexes on the foot area to assure the base is flat and secure on the ground. The led light is bright and adds a nice path beam. Remember, to first remove the tag from the battery compartment to allow the light to work. The light easily adjusts to the angle of choice. The handle is nice and cushioned for comfort. Cane breaks down easily into sections for easy travel storage and includes a snap on lanyard to securely hold the sections together. Included is a nice carry bag with draw string to store the folded cane. Meets all my detailed requirements! My motivation was to assure a self standing cane in the house and it accomplishes this without issue.

Sturdy and affordable
I have been struggling finding a cane that would work for me...I have used wooden ones and adjustable aluminum ones with no success...They were awkward to use esp when I got into a vehicle where I had to lean in up against the truck seat, when not in use (bench seat) during the ride....I was always fighting with it slipping down by my feet and getting tangled up in my legs, purse etc...Plus if I leaned on the other canes too much they would slide out from underneath me causing me to stumble...I had to get a new one and found this....Right away I had it out of the box and bag and took it for a spin....It is study cane...adjustable....light weight and easy to use....It doesn't fall over and stands on it's own...I love the light its nice and bright !! This cane it is fold able and easy to put away in seconds...With a cool carry bag...I recommend this product...Well worth the price

Very practical and sturdy.
I really do like this cane. It has great stability when you are walking, folds and unfolds easily. The flashlight is durable. I hope the designers read this. There is one thing that I do find annoying and that is when the cane is standing and not in use, it falls over very easily. I knock it over several times a day. But it is built very well and has not suffered from the falls, with the exception that 2 years later the flashlight cracked off. But the flashlight is STILL working and now I just have it in my purse. I would buy this product again. Just hoping they maybe make the base a bit bigger. I also like that they included the rubber feet replacements.

Does it’s job
I don’t like using a cane but this one makes it a little easier. It’s durable, lightweight, stands up, and is low profile. The light is a bonus, but I do find that it gets in the way of gripping the handle. I’m new to using canes, so it could just be me.Overall, I would recommend this cane.
