Works great and is quite useful. I've used a lot of adapters and this one is the one that's staying on my camera. The macro/extender function works well and turns just about any lens into a close-focus lens if needed. It works especially well with the Rokinon 85mm 1.4, which as a portrait lens does not quite focus close enough for head shots without this adapter.The only downsides are that it's quite heavy and the aperture control moves easily, running the risk that it could close down the aperture accidentally if bumped.

The shinny silver surfaces of the rear part produce serious internal reflections very easily while shooting into/aside strong lights, which result in very pronounced and ugly glares. The situation is so much worse than the Metabones adapter that I have, and I would say this is unacceptable. I spent some time putting black flocking tapes on those shinny surfaces. The glares became less ugly but still very pronounced.I bought this as I was interested on the macro helicoid. It covers some focusing range that extension tube could never rearch. This is great and very handy to me.The adapter itself is solid and quality is fairly good. It fits tightly on both lens and camera sides with adequate tension. The macro helicoid and aperture ring are not silky smooth but acceptable. Many minor scratches on the mounts but do not matter other than aesthetics. The ND filters are not bad but not good enough for serious work.I would not recommend this unless one really needs the macro helicoid for specific work and is willing to deal with the internal reflection issue.Edit:Apart from the internal reflection problem, the adapter has much smaller inner diameter than regular adapter and thus introduces hard vignetting with some lenses, or when the helicoid is extended. Also the adapter makes every lens attached decenter severely. This is a truly terrible adapter. The worst and the only severely flawed adapter among tens of the adapters I have ever bought.

The item I received was defective, but Fotodiox replaced it immediately without issue.
