This arrived quickly, is exactly what I needed. The hardest part was removing the base from my existing stool. Once that was done it was easy to attach this new base. I'm really pleased with this product. The wheels move smoothly and very quickly. Brilliant.

The base seems sturdy and well built, however the arms are shorter than I expected (radius of the base) which is not a problem per se, but I'm quite short (1.63cm) so on my first attempt to sit down I was slightly too forward on the seat and the rear feet lifted off the ground. I wanted something to replace the plastic base on my Steelcase Leap v2 chair that had begun to twist. I like this as it's one piece (no assembly required) and the shorter diameter means the arms don't extend from the actual chair too much which is better for feet placement.It was a little more expensive than some but it seems like a quality product, time will tell if it holds up, it seems well built so I have confidence it will last.

I have had heavy duty PC chair, I was happy as was solid and really resistant to damage, in normal condition I replaced PC chair every one or two years. My chair have had pulled out wheels from 5 arm base, and one option was replacement of whole and expensive chair or keep it and replace wheel base as my chair except base was in very good condition (Office chair Hippo heavy duty) I replaced the base, installed back origin wheels in to new base, the central spring post was also compatible and chair is as new (I also installed new set cover over hardly used old one)

Bought this to replace the plastic one on my gaming chair. It's really sturdy. I was skeptical about the wheels, but they are actually much better than standard chair wheels.

Mega cool! I have bough this base as a replacement for my gaming akracer chair. Looks amazing with new silicon wheels ;) base is well made, shiny and easy to install. Removing old base was a nightmare!! I had to use hacksaw so I can remove piston from it lol! A little to expensive but if this will last for 5-10 years it is okay. Knowing that new chair will cost £300 this is no brainer to get.
