Kuryakyn 4029 Motorcycle Foot Control: Shift & Brake Pedal Cover for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha Motorcycles, Chrome, Pack of 1

I've ordered 5 different times from Powersport Superstore located at 1101 Arrow Point Dr. Cedar Park, TX 78613 and all 5 times they sent me defective items. Every time I order something with chrome on it, the chrome is peeling and very sharp to the point that it will cut you. Beside it being dangerous it would look awful if installed on you vehicle. After finding the item on Amazon I call Powersport Superstore to verify the fit and that the chrome isn't peeling and the assure me of the fit and the produce isn't defective. They just told me wanted to hear, all the products have been bad and 3 of the orders wouldn't fit. The company will refuse to refund you because after you open the package and discover it's defective, they will say because you open the package the product is no longer eligible for a refund. There's no way to tell is the produce defective without opening the package, so it's a gamble and I've lost 5 times. Most of what I've bought from Powersport Superstore was Kuryakyn parts for my motorcycle which are the best products for motorcycles, but somehow the Kuryakyn parts from this company are bad parts. The company refuses to back their products, even though they refuse to back the product, Amazon will back it. If you have problems just contact Amazon customer service for help. I would suggest find someone other than Powersport Superstore to buy from even if it cost a little more. Powersport Superstore is a bad company and I'm in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I hope this helps you. Also, it takes this company about a week after ordering to ship the item.

This thing is much bigger than I thought it would be. I used this item on my heel shifter. The allen screw housings project out from the top and bottom cover, which sandwich your old brake pedal, and, at least in my case when installing it on a 2002 Kaw Vulcan 1500 Nomad, the screw housing won't allow the shifter to go below the edge of the floorboard which now has a Kuryakyn floorboard cover. I liked the way my heel shifter was pretty low, but now with this pedal cover installed I had to adjust the heel shifter arm up one notch on the spline and now it rides much higher than I was used to. I screwed up a lot of my shifts at first but I'm getting used to it. If I find another solution that would allow me to go back to my old setup I would ditch this one.

Kuryakyn 4029 Shift and Brake Pedal Cover I bought this Brake Pedal Cover to coordinate the Shift Lever Cover  Kuryakyn 8851 Round Shift Peg Cover .The two items together are a great combo. Installing one and not the other would make the bike feel lop-sided.The installation is simple and the result is a touch of Style and Comfort. The brake pedal definitely feels better and being just a bit larger than the OEM pedal cover, somehow just makes it easier to find.

Potentially deadly!!! First time I stepped on this the center broke out leaving the shell flopping around the break arm with the rubber sliding around between my foot and the peddle. If it was made of steel it probably would not have broke.

I originally saw this item on the CTXDCT forum for an easy to install solution for my brake pedal. Even though it isn't listed as being one of the bikes it fits, it does fit mine. Couldn’t be happier.

Kuryakyn, 'nuff said. Amazon's price on this chrome piece is only slightly lower than other online retailers, but Amazon's free shipping sealed it. Other shops charge anywhere from $10 to $30 for something that fits securely inside a bubble envelope.Was very happy to receive this, installed in less than 5 minutes on my bike... looks great... well made... simple 2 screw installation.

Kuryakyn delivers once again, this product is a great addition to my wife's 2008 Honda Shadow Aero 750, the stock brake is small this piece of kit makes it much easier to find and work the brake; the rubber inserts ensure her foot does not slide off. Great product!
