Set of 2 Car Number Plate Holders - Glossy Black

My plates never seemed to be level and it was bothering me. Also, I get my car washed at various local places and they all use a combination of power washers and brushes/sponges, which over time has loosened the adhesion of the plates. So I opted to get a frame so I wouldn't worry about them falling off, which they have done at least once.The provided screws fitted perfectly into the manufacturer holes on the front and back of the car. Alignment wasn't a big deal, there are plenty of holes in the frame to get it fitted just right. I was a little worried about how much pressure the screw heads were placing on the plastic frame, so I used some washers to widen the grip on the frame, i'd recommend you do the same. Don't use a power screwdriver or a drill, tighten it by hand.After both were fitted they looked solid and in place, but in hindsight, they do add quite a large bezel around the license plate, but I can live with that. This is really the only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars, I was expecting the bezel to be a little thinner.That aside, apart from the ridiculous amount of packaging that Amazon boxed the plates in, everything else about the packaging was fine.Would recommend.

At £20 these aren't cheap but the gloss finish looks good and they are relatively easy to fit.Screw the main body into place, carefully slide in the number plate into position and then the bottom edge needs to be clicked into place. Tuck the corners in and carefully line up the pegs on the plastic bottom edge trim piece with the holes in the main body of the number plate holder. Gently push together and you'll hear a click as it snaps together. DONT FORCE IT!! Make sure the pegs and holes line up before you try and click into place or you risk snapping off the peg(s).

As the title suggests these do not allow the fitment of standard UK plates which is a shame because they look very nice.You would need to remove approximately 5mm from each end of the plate to allow them to slide in which i am not prepared to do especially for the price paid.No idea why no one else has mentioned this in the reviews other than they must have been supplied the correct size holders. I shall be returning these as they are not fit for purpose and hope the seller checks there stock to ensure they are the correct size being sent out for UK.

I bought this as a replacement for my currently number plate holder - big mistake!It is small and so does not properly hold number plates and it damaged the border my plate!The lock mechanism is very flimsy and extremely poor quality, particularly for the price you pay! They are very quick to snap! So I was only able to replace my front holder but that damaged my front plate!I will be looking elsewhere and strongly advise you to look elsewhere for a decent quality plate holder. This is EXTREMELY OVERLY PRICED, it will damage your plate if you have a 4D/3D plate and will more than probably snap!

These are fab plate surrounds, super easy to attach to vehicle.. plates slot straight in easily and are secure, look great, no rattles or movement..100% happy with my purchase :)
