Works as advertised. There is no way to secure it aside from the faucet holding it in place, I used a little glue to keep it from sliding around.

Fit nicely. Easy to install.

The deck plate is fine but I am taking off a point because it should just be included with the kit, or, it should be crystal clear the kit does not ship with the deck plate. Many people with older sinks will have three-hole faucet setups, and will need the plate.

I gave this five stars because this would work great for equal side double sink. One side of my sink is much larger so the faucet sits in the first hole rather that in the middle hole. Sorry, but had to return it. It is a good product though. If I could have used it, all the five star ratings would be correct

I was changing from a two knob faucet to a single and this piece worked wonderfully to hide the old fitting. Looks great and was easy to install.
