I am very pleased with this mid-sized green notebook, it was just what I wanted. The cover is hard and non-bendable so I can write without needing the support of a table. It is made in the USA and high quality for less than $10 !! It comes in any color imaginable as long as it's light green :-), actually the cover is a pleasant shade of soft green. The paper is smooth and white similar to 3 ring binder paper but seems a little thicker and higher in quality. The best part is how well it takes ink. All of my pens transfer nice continuous black lines on this paper. This actually receives ink better than the fancy journal paper. Ink show-through on the back side of the paper is minimal. There are 96 lined pages.Don't let the price lead you to think these are lower quality. These are made in quantity for the US Government (Federal Supply Service, GPO) and we are getting the benefit of the high production volume. There is no ribbon page marker (although one could be added, the binding looks sewn), no pocket in back, and no little elastic band to hold it shut. If you are like me you can live without these. The binding is made from 5 individual folded signatures just like a high quality book.The seller, DYI Indispensables, is top notch. They reach out with followup emails to make sure the customer is satisfied. I will be ordering a 3 pack of these notebooks on my next Amazon order.Highly recommended.

I use this book to back up my critical information like cell phone numbers, business contacts, etc...in case my computer or cell phone goes down. It's also great for keep track of different business practices and operations like Catering services or Tutoring services (Keep valuable information safe from hackers).

I had to find these. We used these a lot during my time in the service and they were very handy for taking all kind of notes and useful information. Another purchase that I would consider again. I ordered the bigger size as well.

These are exactly like the memo books I used in the Army. I’ve bought 6, or 2 of these packs, already. I’ve given a few books to friends and have used three myself. These books are hard to find once you are out of the military. These are the closest and least expensive I have found. It’s also nice you can buy them in multiples. I take these books everywhere, I’ve spilled water and coffee and my notes are always safe. Great product will continue to buy!

This type of handbook is a timeless classic. It was good enough back in the day and continues to do the job. Can't beat the price.

Unfortunately I returned this item because I thought I was buying the 8½x11 book but these are just like the ones I used in the military! Sturdy, tough and great value!
