Despite the size of these bead packs being smaller than others I've used before, the amount of beads in them makes up for that. After heating them up in the microwave the outside doesn't have a huge air bubble where there aren't beads so I am able to get more of the beads on sore or hurting areas and they are supportive enough without having to fold them.

I’m updating my review to three stars because while the product did split. Customer service reached out and refunded my money without me contacting them or needing to make a return (I had thrown everything out when it happened). I understand that sometimes an individual product is faulty but not all companies stand by their products or are so prompt to do so. I appreciate their quick response and the fact that they were willing to immediately make it right (they offered a replacement or refund). So many companies don’t do this so it definitely earns them extra stars. I may try this product again if I find myself in need (the current injury has healed).Product split and I had gel beads every where the first time I used it. Complete waste of money. Concept is great but the mess and danger to children/pets isn’t.

These are advertised as flexible when frozen. They are anything but flexible. I pulled one out of the freezer for my daughter's injured hand. I couldn't even manipulate it a little bit.

Using for broken wrist

I bought a shoulder ice pack, but it only came with one ice pack. So I bought this set of 2, because they were the right size to fit the pocket.They came wrapped in a cellophane envelope. I just tossed them in the freezer. The first .day I unwrapped one and used it and that night I unwrapped the 2nd one and went to bed.In the morning, I walk out of the bedroom, taking off the shoulder harness, and pull the ice bag out and little blue balls fly all over my living room! It is unreal, how hard it is to pick those little balls up! Like little jelly balls, that you pinch, and they fly!This was especially a fun task before I had a cup of coffee!I ended up getting a quart freezer bag and a metal spatula to scoop the balls into. I am using the freezer bag of balls, but it’s not as substantial as the original bag.The review would have been 5 stars if the bag had not arrived with a rip in it. When I unwrapped the frozen bag, the balls were frozen together, so I had no idea there was a hole in it.Ok, a month with the freezer bag, and using the good one and the one that came with the shoulder thing, the freezer bag is my last ditch effort for relief. I should have asked for a replacement within the timeframe.
