died after day 2 of use
Looks good and sturdy. rated 1000W with cable rolled in and 3000W but could not handle intermittent and short use of a 1500W mitre saw with cable half unwinded.. expected more from a German made itemEDIT : fuse was dead. wonder how this could have happen though

Needs a ruggedised plug. And to be made of thicker metal.
I've had this a while, and it's a bit flimsy. The metal is thin and bends easily. I bought it as plastic reels break, but I don't think this is any better - and at a higher price, its poor value.

Apocalypse Grade Extension Lead!
A metal spool with 50m of cable attached makes for a surprisingly heavy item however I'm sure it'll last me until the end of time. Very pleased with purchase.

superb quality didnt think i could better the one i made up myself 20 years ago but i was wrong. well worth spending a little extra on, my 50m one cost £53 special offer.quality weighty reel/cable and fittings typical german build quality.
