Q: Where is this fan made

I returned the item as it was not fit for purpose. You can only feel a gentle breeze on the highest setting if you stand 1 inch away from the unit. I remember very clearly looking at the country of manufacturing because I thought the fan was completely useless. It was made in China.

Q: Please can you let me know how noisy this fan is? Especially for the sleep mode, during the night. Thank you!

I tried the fan last night in natural mode. What little noise it makes, you get used to it pretty quickly. In natural mode the fan kept my room a few degrees cooler and I had a very good night's sleep. I wish that I had bought mine earlier, it makes such a difference.

Q: Could you put ice cubes in the essential oil tray?

No...the essential oil tray is very small and it only takes a teaspoonful of essential oil at the max. I would say though that the fan in my opinion gives a decent level of cold air, but if you particularly wanted to use ice for that extra coldness, you could always place a bowl of ice in front of the fan itself. Hope my answer is of some help to you!

Q: There doesn’t appear to be threads for the screws when attaching the base, and the screw’s themselves are very short. How do they attach?

The first time I put the base together the screws provided did the job, even though I didn't think they would however this year I had to find bigger screws to do the job. I won't be dismantling again but will store as it is to avoid the problem next year.
