After the Wedding: A totally unputdownable psychological thriller full of suspense

A super read a long standing business is going down a young girl gets a job there . Suspicion is rife as the wife suspects her husband is having an affair. Enters a man with a tenuous past who wants to help . There are twists and turns everywhere good reading .

What an excellent read. Set over Ireland and the UK, this book has so many twists and turns that will keep you hooked from the first chapter. Very well written to keep the reader interested and in suspense.There is everything in this book, murder, love, betrayal and intrigue.Could see this being turned into a film one day. Highly recommend

It took a very long time to get into this book but turned out good in the end!! Worth the wait!

Another good read

Page-turning psychological crime at its finest. It combines rounded, intriguing characters with poetic writing and an absolutely top-class, suspense-laden plotline that's expertly wrought. I was literally seeing the TV drama in my mind's eye as it went - it has all the elements.This writer has a very assured hand. You think you know where something is going, then the twist comes and you get the heart race you came for.It's told mainly from the perspective of Christine, the successful businesswoman at the heart of the story who buried childhood trauma in the wake of a near-drowning incident aged five, when she wandered off at a relative's wedding. As memories resurface under hypnosis, her world begins to unravel.Her husband - whose head has been turned by a recent arrival in their shared office - seeks to dismiss her recollections, and a split comes into their marriage, marking the beginning of a process of isolation for Christine that will leave her dangerously exposed to dark forces - as she seeks to uncover the events witnessed that fateful day.Without giving too much away, let's just say the story mixes the world of sleek corporatism with an altogether darker criminal underworld, defined by a particularly ruthless core, concerning a set of historic crimes that have remained unsolved.The personal cost of what Christine must unearth is enormous, yet this is a heroine's journey that must be taken, and not just to survive psychologically, but to survive at all.

This is the first time ive read anything by Laura. I really enjoyed this book everytime i thought it was over it kept twisting again, the way its written is extremly clever. The characters really did come alive. The plot is extremly well thought out and the story very gripping. I look forward to reading more from Laura.Highly reccommend.

Couldn’t put this one down! Really well written, certainly didn’t expect the ending. I found this one her best yet.

The plot was thrilling with its many twists and turns. Kept interest and curiosity going throughout the entire book. Would recommend to anyone.
