I love this cow. It's very firm though, and hasn't broken in yet after a month. I have one of their red t-rex's and that one took maybe six months of playing to be soft enough for what I wanted. The cow will probably take longer because of how chonky it is. Durability on these is very good. I would trust one of these around a child. The eyes of the cow are plastic, but they're very stitched in and they definitely won't come out. Cow/10, would recommend.
