A good learning guide

Great workbook for folks traveling to Italy. I have been using it as part of a course with an instructor in preparation for travel. Provides good information re language, culture, and communications while traveling. It is all in Italian including instructions for exercises. There is an English reference tool at the back of book. Highly recommend an Italian Dictionary or phrase book to supplement lessons for first timers.

Ottimo manuale per i turisti.

The CD audio does not allow enough time between phrases for the student to repeat and practice the sounds of new words and phrases. I like the format of Duolingo App much better. Workbook is very good in reviewing language needs for a traveler.

Buon libro che propone diverse situazioni che possono presentarsi ai turisti in Italia. Non solo le “classiche” situazioni di ordinare al bar o comprare i biglietti dell’autobus, ma anche gli inconvenienti (colpo di sole o malesseri generali, carta di banca bloccata, problemi in albergo).Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più ma alla fine mi è stato molto d’aiuto durante le lezioni con studenti in procinto di fare una vacanza in Italia.
