I purchased this book for my son who is considering buying a power boat. He said there is a lot of good information to consider before he makes his purchase.

The book had a wealth of information. I would highly recommend it for anyone buying a larger boat.

Basic information provided. Did not learn much new information.

Buying your first power boat. You must read this first.

Excellent practical info for buying and/or maintaining your boat. This is the second book I have purchased by the same author.

I bought Bob's book to save money buying my next boat. I did.Bob's a USCG licensed Captain and a marine surveyor -- a good combination for advice on sizing up and dollar-valuing a boat.If you boat a lot and fish a lot, on a limited budget, like me, this book's for you.I recommend it. I'm afraid that this book rather states the obvious. It is also USA based and is more appropriate to that market. Waste of money as far as I was concerned.
