This glue is working great for me for re-tipping tiny I-extensions. With the glue gun on low 335* I put a tiny dab on the end then mash it with a flat iron then roll the tips with my fingers. I had the glue gun already, just a plain light duty one, so the sticks saved me from buying another tool, and for these tiny tips the flat iron alone would not be neat enough.I would not use the glue gun to attach directly to the hair because it’s not hot enough to get runny enough to penetrate, but if you want to try anyway i would make sure the glue gun will not leak at the tip and try a high temperature. 420* on my flat iron was hot enough, but i didn’t try it lower.Worked out great for me, shipped very fast. The sticks seem so far like they will be economical. Just don’t leave it on high if your gun isn’t leak proof, it will run all over, this happened to me at 380*

Horrible product! I tried this in two separate glue guns, one with low/med and one with high temps, these didnt melt at all! It did get somewhat soft in the high temp glue gun, so I thought maybe I just need to squeeze the trigger harder while pushing the glue stick, this only caused my glue gun to break apart! Also while heating, it gives off the worst burning plastic smell I have ever experienced, which is saying a lot because I use a lot of products with noxious odors in my various crafty pursuits. Out of pure frustration I held these above a direct flame to see what was happening, and they still did not melt, they simply became a bit more soft and pliable, and still would not adhere to or spread along a hair weft no matter how I tried forcing it.I returned the unused sticks for a refund, I wish I could get a refund for my damaged glue gun as well! :(

This glue is perfect for my pre-tipped hair extensions, since the pre-tip only has a bit of keratin glue, I always add a bit more and this glue is perfect. I cut a few stix in half and add them to my hair melting glue pot. They melt perfect with the pot. The secret is the pot! Love it.

i thought there were bigger for the big gun, they are small :(
