I got this affordable clipper as part of a Father's Day gift. It is light weight and does the job nicely. It does need 2 AA batteries that are not included. Makes a really good gift, I can see myself getting more for stocking stuffers for my guys!

I'm generally not expecting a whole lot for something like this that doesn't cost much and you only use occasionally. Still, from a style standpoint it's quite nice compared to the old Panasonic unit I had. The switch also works better. The main difference is the tip which I like better on this as far as the metal rolled end that closes it off. However, unlike my old one, there's not much of any slot on the sides, so you have to kind of push to the tip towards the side everywhere to get it to cut close.The unit takes one AA battery that is not supplied.

I've tried several types of these, and most were disappointing. Low powered, low speeds, even with a new battery, and pulling and painful.This one is not the best, but it's at least in the upper half of them.It has a higher speed than most with the same battery, It doesn't yank or tug on the sensitive skin when trimming nostril hair.Price is decent as well, so overall a good value.
