This shampoo and conditioner works great for my hair. I have long, thin/fine, heat damaged hair with an oily scalp. It cleans very well while still moisturizing, it balances out my dry ends and greasy roots. It left my hair soft and shiny and not weighed down at all. I was able to get lift and volume while styling. I didn't try the oil on my hair because I was afraid it would weigh it down but it felt nice on my skin. The shampoo definitely looks different from others, its a runny brown. It lathers up nicely and rinses clean. The conditioner is a lighter brown and also seemed a bit runny but it held in my hair and moisturized very well. They both looked kinda ick but smelled really nice and worked as they should.

This review is for the the SheaMoisture Strengthen and Restore Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Oil set -This set has worked well for my 4A-type hair. It's extremely hydrating which is great for my hair that tends to be slightly dry from swimming in a chlorinated pool, but also oily. I let my hair air-dry after using these products, and my hair felt a bit heavy that first day. I actually thought my hair looked best on the second day after using. Given that, I wouldn't use this as a daily shampoo, but will continue to use once a week or so for the beneficial ingredients. I wasn't crazy about the smell. It smells a bit like molasses, but that scent fades shortly after washing out.

I really like this set, super gentle, lathers well, it’s super important to me because if it doesn’t I feel like I still have dirty hair. I can tell the difference on my ends, much softer and just overall hair seems to feel lighter and smoother. It has very gentle not overpowering smell and does help with brushing and afterwards hair does have a healthy glow. I’m super happy with this set, I actually use this brand for my kids and it’s gentle enough for them, of course baby products. Very happy with this set, love how my hair feels after using it.

Ordered to help with dry damaged hair and dry skin. Really like the conditioner as a standalone; smells nice and resulted in soft silky hair. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling coated and heavy, can maybe use sparingly in small doses.The leave-in head-to-toe oil is sticky and smells a bit like peanut butter (seed oil). I tried using on elbows and a little in hair but just left me feeling like I needed to wash it off.Decent total value and could help with certain hair types.

This shampoo, conditioner and black castor oil from The Shea Moisture Store came as a set of three. The shampoo and conditioner have a light almond scent to me, they are thick in consistency, the shampoo fathers very well and the conditioner leaves my hair soft, shiny and easy to comb. The shampoo and conditioner both contain castor oil and shea butter which are very moisturizing. The castor oil works as a great carrier oilor you can use it by itself on your skin.
