Strong and easy to use
I bought this to replace the wrist strap that originally came with the underwater case for my Osmo Action camera, that was very flimsy and had broken during this whole kayak overturning incident. This new wrist strap (the TONELIFE) is much better, for 2 key reasons: 1. It’s reassuringly sturdy, thicker than most shoelaces - it wouldn’t have snapped when my kayak tipped. 2. The locking mechanism can be used (on and off) easily with only one hand, helpful since one hand is all you have free for this. I’d recommend replacing any flimsy lanyards on your similar devices with this one.

Really doesn't slide on your wrist!
I'm using both of them on my Nitecore DL10 Dive Light to replace the weak wrist strap it came with. Works really well so far from testing it in my backyard pool. Keeps my flashlight tight on my wrist and it doesn't slip around. Great for snorkeling with the tests I've had so far.

Loop too big, poor design
The rubber around the string is too long. You cannot tighten it enough to hold. Lost my $80.00 flashlight at 100ft deep diving because it slipped off my wrist even after it was as tight as you can go. (and I have large XL hands).A solution is to trim the rubber back and move the knot to a location that doesn’t interfere with the tightener. AND buy a new replacement flashlight. :-(

Just what I needed
Just what I needed at a great price. Using this as a tether for an underwater camera.

Does not fit a camera lanyard loop opening.
This item does NOT fit a standard camera lanyard opening. It is much larger rope-like material.
