It was actually fairly easy, even though I’ve never done this before
We used this ballast to repair our 2013 Infiniti JX35 Headlight. Our driver side headlight had been flickering on and off every once in a while. Some days it was on, some days it was off. I came on amazon and bought some new headlights for $16 instead of $120 at any auto parts store. Installed the lights and the driver side still didn’t turn on. I learned about this ballast from a message board. I figured i could try it out. I Found a YouTube video for how to install. It was actually fairly easy, even though I’ve never done this before. You need to drop the front bumper and remove the entire headlight to acces the ballast underneath. Took about 1.5 hrs. After the install the headlight started right up! I do recommend this part to anyone. The cables fit , the cables were long enough for the job. It was a simple plug and play (once you’ve already removed he light of course)

Works in 2007 Infiniti G35 headlight assembly
Bought this to replace the one non-working ballast in my 2007 Infiniti G35 headlight after the dealership told me I’d have to replace the entire light assembly since they aren’t manufactured separately... No thank you. It took some effort to accomplish, but my headlight is working again and I saved roughly $1440.

Fixed on a 2014 Infiniti QX60
I'm not going to say it's an easy job, but I was able to do it in about 2.5 hours by myself. Once you get the headlight out it's just as easy as unplugging the old one and putting the new one in. Saved myself nearly $2,000 on what the dealer wanted to charge me.Ballast came looking nearly brand new, good packaging and added gasket.

Looks refurb and not new but it still works.
The unit came as if it was refurbished. The hid ballast looked newly painted black and the wire for that plugged into the ballast that goes to the headlight was used and I thought I was purchasing a completely new unit. The condition was nothing like the pictures portrayed. I was skeptical on installing on my maxima but I had no choice being that I had already removed my bumper to get to headlight and removed headlights. I installed it and It worked like a charm that's the only reason i didnt give a complete bad review. If I knew the unit was gonna come in this condition i would have bought the used 1 for $15.00 less on Amazon.

So much cheaper than OEM - '08 Infinity G35
The quote from the neighborhood mechanic nearly made me throw up. But then he hinted that I may be able to find a ballast cheaper on Amazon and he would reassemble for me.I found this, stalled the ballast myself actually. Used the original pigtail because of some review and didn't want to mess with threading the cable through the housing. Now I have two working headlamps again!

One week review... So far so good.
Watched YouTube videos on an easier way to get to the ballast, igniter a bulb through the fender well.If you’re in doubt of it being your ballast or igniter you can swap your original ballast/igniter from your driver side to passenger side and vice versa. If the issue follows the ballast/igniter over to the other side of your car then go ahead and order one of these.Much cheaper than going to the dealership so do yourself a favor and do it yourself.

Works for Acura/Honda ballast replacement albeit with slight mods
Has the same Voltage, Amp, and wattage as the Matsushita OEM Honda uses, but the housing is slightly different. Will have to RTV seal the ballast to the housing and modify the headlight housing/ or modify the igniter mounting so it will sit flush and seal against the elements. If you have time its well worth the time to save over 800$ worth in diagnostics and parts.

Works perfect. Lights don't turn off when balasts overheat like the old balasts.
Had to replace my old balasts. They over heated and the lights would go out in the middle of driving at night. Replaced them with these new balasts. No more over heating and lights going out.Easy to install after disassembling headlight unit.

Need an answer
I’m currently trying to install but the harness is too short. Is there a different fit? Did I get sent the wrong kit? Everything else works I just can’t install this. I can overlay it but the headlight won’t seal up against the elements.

Highly recommend, no issues.
